I would never revisit this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness and overall environment were unacceptable. Our original room was dirty, pull out mattress cover was filthy. Pull out mattress was broken also food under pullout, and there were unsupervised teens running through the hotel, causing chaos and trashing common areas.
A young lady at the front desk was very kind and did her best to help by switching our room, which I appreciated. However, we had to move our family from one room to another at 10:00 p.m., which was extremely inconvenient. The second room was okay, but the overall experience was still terrible due to the noise and lack of control throughout the hotel.
Throughout the property, there were wet towels left in the elevators, rags in the hallways, and room doors left open with no apparent supervision of children. The noise level was out of control, and there seemed to be no management presence to maintain order.
Overall, this was a very poor hotel experience due to excessive noise, lack of cleanliness in common areas, and poor management of the property. I will not be returning.
Stayed last week when a snow storm hit while we were handing some things in the area. Super disappointed that they wouldnt honor my husband being a veteran for the military discount. All i wanted was a basic room that we could warm up in and order room service. We were told they were short staffed and that we needed to go to the restaurant for dinner b/c who knows when they would get the food to us if we ordered room service. We made in time for the evening reception and cocktails. Each person received 2 drinks from a decent list to choose from and some cheese crackers and vegetables and ranch. The bartender was great! We decided to sit at the bar and order dinner. Our food wasn't bad, I had a flat bread and my husband had nachos. The room was awful, the elevators were old and beat up and they all felt like they were going to break when you would go up or down. The room actually was so gross, empty water bottles left from who knows when. There was tape on the tile corner holding it together, the bathroom shower glass was dirty. All of the caulk was molding and gross. This is not a 4 star hotel. It was old, run down, and not taken great care of. The breakfast on the other hand, was great! So many options including a made to order omelet or eggs station. We never checked out anything else. Ultimately I was very disappointed in having to spend the extra $50 on the room when my husband is a veteran and should be allowed to utilize the military discount. Oh well, we probably wont be back. It was off the path for us but near an expressway. We chose there because we liked that it was a 4 star hotel unlike the Holiday Inn next door that wasn't
Oh! And we were super annoyed with the $15 fee to park in their parking lot that is not secure or covered. So weird. I have a couple pictures that I would have loved to post but of course that isn't an option.
We really enjoyed our stay and can't say enough about the staff at breakfast and the bartender at the evening reception. Amazing!
This is definitely designed for business travelers and normal things at hotels (in the suburbs) cost extra. Late check-out is free for 30 minutes, then up to $75 for a few hours. Parking is $15/night. The staff were apologetic because these are corporate decisions, not local. Just seemed a little unnecessary, as they have a complimentary evening reception with snacks and drinks, as well as a great breakfast with made to order eggs, omelets, etc.

Parking costs $15 per day which was free previously, it’s just a money grab, some areas could use updating. The front desk and overall service is okay - not rude but not particularly polite either. Just okay overall, no hot tub with the pool but breakfast is good.
Do not stay at this location on the weekends. We stayed their two nights on Friday and Saturday. We had two rooms traveling with an infant. The hotel had a lot of elementary age kids staying there which were rowdy and unsupervised. Finally, I called the Front desk at 12:30 am and told them to get involved and stop this behavior and activity. The front desk hung up on me and the rowdy behavior condoned by the parents did not subside until 1:30 am. This is unacceptable. We were not offered any empathy, apology, or financial compensation for an evening without sleep. The hotel is nice, the room is nice, the breakfast service is great. I would encourage everyone to NOT stay here during the weekends. There was no security and the front desk was obviously overwhelmed or did not care or maybe both. We moved to the Fairfield Inn in Troy for our first night to ensure a restful sleep.
