Then in October, we received a phone call from a very nervous staff member letting us know that our reservations had been canceled due to the hotel overbooking by 36 rooms. I find it hard to believe that 36 other reservations were made before July — something just doesn’t add up. Even more concerning, they never informed Booking.com of the cancellations, likely to avoid accountability. I requested a call from the manager three separate times and never received a response. This place is highly unorganized and completely unprofessional. If they can’t handle basic business practices like managing reservations and communicating with guests, I don’t even want to imagine what other areas they’re neglecting. Shame on the management for making a staff member handle such uncomfortable calls and then refusing to take responsibility. Do better.
