- JPjacqueline poehlmanDec 11, 20254.0Stayed here while in town to pack up my son’s U of M dorm room. The hotel is located in an area with lots of other hotels on State Street in a safe part of town. The staff was friendly and courteous, the breakfast was fine, the pool and gym were adequate, and the hotel and my room were clean and well-maintained. The only thing making this not a 5-star is that my room was missing a couple of odd things - soap, and a bucket for ice. I asked and they were quick to supply them, but it was a bit weird that they were missing.

My only complaint is that the ice machine on the second floor gave me really dirty ice. First floor ice machine was just fine, but was totally grossed out by the dirt and stuff in the other one. Looked like melted snow
