Did not have the typical DoubleTree vibe. Felt more like a Best Western. Bathroom was tiny with no exhaust fan. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was low quality for the price. More typical of a continental but wasn't included in the price of the room.

I met two more members of the Ann Arbor team . Amelia and Becky !! It was great to meet you. I usually leave early and don’t go to the front desk , however, this morning I thought I would grab a cup of coffee @ 0430.
Thank you two for everything! Even the small coffee spill I had ..I had met Becky on my previous visits to the hotel as it is roughly 3 miles from the Rogel Center at the hospital.
Everyone at the front desk, maintenance, house keeping, has been great on my visits. .Everyone goes above and beyond at the property to ensure all the guests are safe and comfortable.
Thank you again

I travel to Ann Arbor about 6 times a year for a week long work trip and for the past two years ALWAYS stay here now (after trying out several others in AA). I work out of the North Campus at the University and so the location is absolutely great. In addition to being close to work, you're right next to a couple grocery stores as well as the hotel restaurant which is decent. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I've never used the pools but they are huge and I always see them pretty busy. I generally like to keep with my workout routine as much as possible this hotel gym is more than enough for me, I believe their dumbbells go up to 75 lbs.
Shoutout to Shawn the bartender. Not only does he remember me every time I visit (sometimes months between trips), he's very personable, very good at recommending new beers for my palate, and overall just good vibes that makes me want to grab a beer at the bar every evening.
Con: I feel like the rooms need a refresh.

My job hosted a work conference here, and the entire experience was fantastic. Olivia and Ash took amazing care of us throughout the event—they were organized, attentive, and made everything seamless. The rooms were spotless and the beds incredibly comfortable. My favorite part was definitely the bar/restaurant lounge—the ambiance, the food, and the drinks were all amazing. The service was truly 10/10. Berto and Shaun were especially pleasant and personable.

I stayed here for a week for work. When I departed, I left a number of dress shirts in my room closet. I then called the location and the operator assured me that they would retrieve the items and ship them out to me. These were $700+ of garments.
A few days passed and I did not hear back. I called them many times and they did not respond to my calls.
When I finally reached the GM, Brandon (I believe), he said they they could not find the items and there was nothing he could do to make it right.
For such a large corporation, I am disappointed that they, to me, stole my items and offered absolutely nothing to make up for it.
I will unfortunately never stay at another Hilton.
