We’ve stayed at different hotels both in the Portland area and out of state, and this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. I was reached out to over text before we got to the hotel, and Kylie was super helpful in answering the questions I had. Once we arrived, the valets, Maggie and Carl I believe, were wonderful, as was the lady at the front desk (I didn’t catch her name). Room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. We will definitely be back!

Location is great and very convenient. We had a room with a view of the water and it was gorgeous! Did not use the valet service, so I cannot speak on whether that is worth the $40/night that they charge. We paid $50 for two nights of parking elsewhere, and walked to the hotel with no issue. Elevators NEED to be updated!!! They were slow, shaky, and seemed to get stuck at various points. Panels inside were falling apart and buttons barely worked. Scary! The bed was comfortable, but the room itself was outdated. Also was not very clean at all - found peanuts on the floor and women’s foundation on the bathroom counter, as well as old standing water in the bathtub. Strangely, things that you would find in a standard hotel were not provided in this room - no pen and paper, for example. Just kind of lacking. Most of the people we spoke with here were very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff and housekeeping service providers were all great! The only unpleasant encounter was with the woman bartending on the evening of 1/2/26. She seemed very irritated when my partner and I came up to the bar for drinks and was dismissive of us. As soon as we got our drinks and I tried to say “thank you,” she had already turned away to continue talking to another couple at the bar that she seemed to know. She continued to ignore us so we ended up leaving after one drink. The sliced fruit she put in our drinks was literally brown and borderline moldy. Not sure if we were being looked down on because of our age, race, or if she was just having a bad day, but the service was not a good look for the hotel overall. I would come back to try this hotel one more time, but not for more than one night. The location can’t be beat, but hotel needs some serious updates.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay. The front desk, breakfast and valet staff are all great. Our view looked out on the Christmas-dressed tugboats. Our travelzoo deal included a choice of breakfast for 2 and parking, and we could walk to dozens of shops and restaurants.
