- MVMike VolpeJan 1, 20261.0Stayed three nights at this location. Room itself was nice but the service at this this location was horrible. We always stay at Hilton properties and this was by far the worst service we have encountered. Normally when we stay in a hotel we don't want housekeeping to enter while we are there. We don't want our stuff exposed and have to lock everything up. Usually not a problem. We just put the do-not disturb tag on the door or some have a light that you can turn on from the inside so they know not to come in. During check-in at this location we were given three little slips of paper and we're told that if we want housekeeping service, we are to turn in the paper the night before and they will provide housekeeping the next morning. We asked if there's any thing we need to hang on the door and they said no. Well after our second night we came back to the room and found housekeeping had been in it. After contacting the front desk we were told the manager would be there the next morning. This morning we brought this up to the manager and she could not have been any nastier providing no apologies and just acted like she really did not even care. She also just kept making excuses and didn't even know about the pieces of paper you drop off when this is her hotel and she supposedly is the manager . On top of that, the breakfast and the dining area is horrible. The toaster didn't even work. The place was just an absolute mess like nobody even cleaned up or anything and garbage pails overflowing with garbage that hadn't been emptied in days. I Visit the Portland area quite often but this will be the one and only time I ever choose this location.
- DMDiana MortonDec 29, 20255.0Perfect location to visit sister at New England Rehab. Room was quiet and comfortable bed. Note: you must request fresh linens ahead of time. We did not like the couch, uncomfortable. But would definitely stay there again. Staff was friendly and always smiling.
