Check‑In Experience: Walked in. Immediate sniff approval. Automatic doors whooshed open like I was entering a palace built exclusively for me. Front desk humans gasped—“Oh my gosh, hiiii!”—which is exactly the correct greeting for a celebrity of my stature. Room: Carpet? Soft. Bed? Cloud-like. Temperature? Set to “perfect nap weather.” I performed the traditional Dog Circle Dance™ on every surface and found zero flaws. Even the desk chair smelled faintly of “previous dog visitor,” which I consider a cultural exchange. Amenities: - Free breakfast: I was told it was “not for dogs,” but I did receive a contraband sausage from a human accomplice. 10/10. - Pool: I was not allowed in, which is rude, but I respected the boundary because I am a gentleman. - Elevator: A thrilling vertical adventure box. Would ride again. Staff: Elite-level petters. One employee crouched down and said, “Who’s a good boy?” with the sincerity of a therapist guiding me through a breakthrough. I felt seen. Local Walkability: Grass patches everywhere. Trees for days. A Dunkin’ nearby for my human, who apparently needs “coffee” to function. I simply wake up perfect. Noise Level: Quiet enough for naps, but with occasional hallway footsteps so I could practice my role as Protector of the Realm. Barked twice. Mission accomplished. --- 🐶 Final Verdict: The Hampton Inn Kittery treated me like the royalty I already believe myself to be. Would return. Would nap. Would accept more sausages.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. We didn't use the pool or gym since it was a quick trip but they looked well maintained. Kittery Trading Post is next to it and the other outlet shops are right up the road My only complaint is the Hotel is right on interstate 95 and we had a room on that side so the noise was pretty loud but not terrible
