Every hotel has a negative, there’s always something. And I’ll get to the single thing here in a moment. I’ve dined here multiple times when staying at the Hampton Inn and sometimes I’ve even driven up from the Courtyard and Towneplace if I’m there. The food is always decent, good value, and the service from notably Alex and Sandra are always great. I stayed here twice over the summer of 2025. My corporate rates were blacked out at my usual hotels in the area and I ended up booking here because it was more affordable (or like a few bucks more). The rooms here are simple and basic, but, great! It’s kind of all the things I miss from ‘normal’ hotels when I stay at all these updated places. The bathroom door pulls open blocking the hallway noise (not that it was loud), there’s a built in night light in the bathroom ceiling light, there’s that classic garden inn brand pantry area with a fridge microwave and coffee maker, and a basic but comfy chair to sit in (I was in 2 queen bed room). Even being a full service hotel where breakfast has cost, they still offer free coffee in the lobby which is greatly appreciated in this day and age with cold brew protein frap iced cold foam nonsense (I just need black coffee in the morning). My rooms were always clean, no issues at all with repair either. The negative? This costs money, and rightfully so! I wish my company would go after getting a preferred rate here but regardless, it’s a treat for me to stay here or the Hampton and grab a burger and beer at the bar here.

It’s not often that I don’t see any staff during a hotel stay, but with the Hilton Honors app and keyless entry, I was able to go in from the side door and head right up to my room (which I selected in the app). My name on the TV to welcome me is also a very nice touch :) The room was spotless and looked well-maintained. My daughter was excited to see a Denny’s right down the road and I was excited to see the Sam’s Club!
