Commuting from Virginia to Maryland to visit with my son. To find a relaxing place to spend the weekend. One of my first options will always be at the Doubletree By Hilton in Laurel. It's convenient and the customer service is top tier! While I was staying this past holiday weekend. As usual, trying to cram everything to do in this visit. I forgot I set a time for Instacart to drop off a couple of grocery items. I forgot to put my room number. My son and I left super early to return to our room later. Natacha from the front desk was outstanding. A small act of kindness speaks volumes. She remembered my son and I not just as guests, but as people. Natacha anticipated the risk of our groceries sitting out in front of our room and quietly solved the problem before it became one. She simply had the Instacart order left safely at the front desk until our return. By protecting our perishable items without needing to be asked, without making it a production, and without waiting for praise. That’s the kind of care you can’t train into someone — it comes from genuine attentiveness and pride in their work. That's hospitality in its purest form: thoughtful, human, and proactive. It’s a reminder that even in the middle of my busy, layered life — someone noticed, someone cared, and someone made sure our day went a little smoother. Those moments matter, especially for a mother traveling with her son. Natacha is another outstanding representation of the Doubletree by Hilton in Laurel, Maryland. =)

The hotel is very clean and tge staff is very professional. BUT the beds / mattress are so old and need replacement. I woke up with a stiff neck. It was like sleeping in a hole in the ground.

When the representative of a business displays “A personal touch of great customer service.” It isn’t just “good service”; it’s a signal. It tells people I see you, I’m paying attention, and you matter in this moment. Most businesses skip that part because it requires intention, not scripts. But when someone does it well, it creates loyalty, trust, and a feeling of being cared for that no automated system can replicate. Arias at the Doubletree by Hilton in Laurel. Provides outstanding customer service! This young lady will go far in life. And may become the owner or advance to upper management. Her personable and kind nature is wonderful. She is present eager to answer any questions pertaining to your room. She assures you like your room and are having a great experience at the hotel. My son and I always have the most pleasant experience when we stay at the Doubletree Hotel. My son is Autistic and non verbal. Arias is very patient and kind with him. She offered him a warm cookie. Every company should have someone like Arias to represent their brand.

Not sure I can give us a proper review. We only stayed there one night because our flight was canceled and we booked this out of desperation and I did not know how far from bwi airport it was going to be. The rooms were decent enough. The person who checked us in was fantastic. Very helpful. Very nice. The restaurant that's attached to the hotel was awful

They had one of the better breakfast buffets I have had at a hotel recently. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean. The workout room was above average. I liked the location, but was there for work so not sure what there is to do if your are traveling for leisure. The rooms could be updated, but that is true of lots of hotels these days.
