All in all good, but I think it's a little stingy to not include the continental breakfast. After paying you 190 for the night

We booked through a travel partner and I certainly didn’t do my due diligence as I never assumed a hotel as such would be included in this traveling groups inventory, to put it nicely. The key did not work upon arrival, a 10-15 min wait for maintenance to update the keypad. Maintenance was friendly. The chocolate cookies were not ready upon arrival, but we were told they were cooking (never received any) the workout room was decent and we used that 2 of the 4 days we stayed. We never went to the pool but it was open. We stayed Dec 28-Jan 1 and the night of the 31st we were woken up to what was clearly a large group of younger people whom had rented a room
And they were yelling, fighting, running up and down the hallways. I called front desk to inform, not sure what was done.
One of the biggest complaints I have is the double outlet in the bathroom was not working and had been damaged. I am going to assume they knew about this as house keeping cleans every day and this damage did not look new. So no ability to dry hair, no ability to put in razor, electric tooth brush etc. I reported it to front desk and it wasn’t fixed. So if your assigned 423 beware.
Free parking was nice. The hotel was clean but clearly maintenance issues had been covered up with caulk or paint or not at all. Just an honest review for those looking to stay. The $86/a night price I see to stay there in January would make sense for what you get. The $150 in May I would reconsider

I would never stay here again. When I checked in, The temperature inside the room was almost 100 F and it takes long time to cool down. Bathroom doors wont lock. Bed is not comfortable. Some random people roam inside the hotel and asking for money/card.

This has been a very pleasant stay. I had to fly in and out of BWI and work at the Navy Yard, and this DoubleTree turned out to be the perfect in-between spot. Just far enough from DC to avoid losing my sanity, and close enough to get everywhere I needed without stress.
Check in was a breeze. Parking was easy every day. And the staff has been consistently polite and welcoming in a way that genuinely made me feel at home. They nailed the hospitality piece.
Room was clean, comfortable, and warm during a snowstorm. The heating and AC worked exactly like they should. Water pressure was fantastic. The bed was comfy, and the TV is big enough that you do not have to squint to watch a movie. It all added up to a solid and restful stay.
The only area that missed the mark was the breakfast buffet. It felt a little basic compared to what I usually expect at a DoubleTree. The sausage patties were overcooked, and the paper plates threw me off since most DoubleTrees offer a menu option and real dishware. Not a trip breaker, but noticeable.
On the positive side, the restaurant in the evenings was delicious, and I will be reviewing that separately.
All things considered, this was an excellent stay. Great location, great staff, great room. I would absolutely return.
