Almost every review is 1-2 stars yet google shows a 4.2 star rating. Read the reviews and book elsewhere.
They overcharged $40, room key did not work, carpet soaking wet, used bar of soap in shower, new key did not work. Did I mention they charged $200 without explanation for a $160 room? Oh.. almost forgot, front desk always unmanned, and no response to chat feature on Hilton App. I can’t believe I gave this hotel 2 stars.

A dependable hotel lodging facility that is clean, has spacious rooms, good amenities and is very convenient to restaurants, shops and downtown Frederick. Not sure how old this hotel is, but can't be that old ( looks new from the outside(... but it needs some updates to their rooms, bathrooms and hallways. Looks a bit used..clean...but used.

I am a quadriplegic and was going to Frederick, MD for a wedding Oct 24th.
I made the original reservation back on February of 2025, and at that time requested a handicapped accessible room. I told them over and over that I needed a lower than usual bed that I couldn't stand and that my husband uses a transfer board to move me from the manual wheelchair to the bed and vice versa.
For our disappointment, the bed was not at the same level with my manual wheelchair. With extremely difficulty, my husband, who has a back problem to begin with, had to pick me up instead of using the transfer board we brought with us.
The next problem we encountered was the bathroom sink was set to high for someone, specifically a quadriplegic woman in a manual wheelchair, to be able to watch my hands, brush my teeth, ect..... I couldn't reach the faucet.
The other problem we encountered was the main door to the room couldn't stayed open by itself, so my husband had to use one leg to keep the door open while he pulled me into the room.
Last but not least, the pillows were super soft and they were not other options. And no, we didn't feel like calling the front desk. We were too tired and frustrated.
I am strongly considering contacting the Disability department and place my complaint. It's not the first hotel that does a poorly job accommodating someone in my position.
Thank you for your time.

Booked this hotel primarily because the ad showed a pool and a hot tub. Unfortunately there is no hot tub and the ad has not been updated. The pool was out of order because of a sprinkler problem. I considered leaving immediately and booking someplace else, and so sorry that I didn't do that. Could have paid half as much to stay someplace else but also included breakfast. Also something weird was going on with the kleenex box in the bathroom, there were several weird kleenexes stuffed into the top... I pulled them out trying to get to fresh, and found that they were all wet, as well as the box. Absolutely disgusting. I don't even want to imagine where that box fell to get wet. 😵💫 I threw it in the garbage. When I tried to call the front desk the phone is not working So I used my cell, and a new box was brought up promptly. The climate control in the room is both a unit by the window and a thermostat on the opposite wall. I could not get the fan to turn off. Turning the temperature up to heat did not keep the cold fan from blowing, and turning the unit unit off at the thermostat did not keep the cold air from blowing. The engineer came up, disassemble the unit at the window, turn the switch off. Later after 10:30 at night there was a knock on the door, front desk trying to find another room that was having the same problem. The engineer was gone so I showed her how to disable the unit. Bottled Waters in the room that are for some guests and not others is just rude. No tea in the room. No paper and pencil in the room. In the morning when I went to make coffee the machine machine would not power on, and the plug is buried down below the refrigerator which also did not work. While carrying things out to my car, noticed that somebody allowed their dog to take a crap on the sidewalk right out the front doors. When I advised the front desk, she was aware however, "the people that do that don't come in for another hour". Well I guess all your guests are going to have to walk past dog poop this morning. Lesson learned. Horrible.
I typically only give five-star reviews and then my feedback at the front desk, but this hotel really needs to come with a warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ THAT is your five warning review.
