Conveniently located in the heart of the business district, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbia MD all-suite hotel is out of the ordinary but not out of the way. Guests have a choice of studio, one and two-bedroom suites, in addition to our daily complimentary Suite Start hot breakfast, and evening Welcome Home reception (Monday – Thursday) featuring beverages and snacks on the house. Amenities at our hotel include: Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and household utensils in all rooms, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, on-site convenience store, large fitness center, swimming pool and laundry facilities.

- JCJessie CartyOct 24, 20254.0We were just staying for a night, and checked in closer to 8pm, so we opted to stay in our room despite it having a bit of a smell. The front desk was very friendly and did offer to move us. The room smelled like someone had cooked and they had not properly deoderizer the room between guests. Overall the room was comfortable and was priced reasonably with restaurants and a gas station near by, as well as easy access to the highway; however, the room did feel warm no matter what temperature we tried, and the ceiling fan did not work. The bed also creaked a bit but was comfortable. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the closets or laundry bags, so just some of the normal amenities that are minor but missed. The breakfast was also just OK with watered down apple juice and eggs which fits in with the 4 star va 5 star experience. I did appreciate the free parking and I friendliness of everyone I encountered.

And a bathroom ceiling that looked like it had water damage. Worn carpets that needed changing. Not a deal breaker for me but something the average person will notice.

The breakfast was great the first day, they had this amazing quiche. The court yard is nice, easy to walk from the back to get to my room. Ample parking. The bed is comfortable just wish pillows didnt fall flat so easily. The wifi is way faster than other homewoods ive been too. So that was a plus.

My shower drain didn’t drain, I had to turn off the shower let the 2 inches of water drain and then start a shower again. I told the front desk, somebody came said they fixed it, but they did not because I had the same issue that evening. The sink faucet would not turn off and that drain was clogged as well. t There were nails sticking out of the transition strip between the bathroom and the bedroom. The tiles floor in the bathroom were all missing grout and very sharp. The room other than that was clean. The people that were staying there were smoking pot outside which I told management who did nothing. So you had to walk through smoke to get inside the hotel. The breakfast was late every day that I was there by 30 minutes. DO NOT stay here.

The breakfast meat always a non- pork option which was excellent since we do not eat any pork. The suite was a 2bed/ 2ba suite with kitchenette with pots, pans, dishes and cooking tools. There was a sleeper sofa. So everyone had a space of their own. A TV in every room(3). U Control air/heat. Looking for the same type for my visit to Seattle.
