Rooms were average, TV was old, water pressure in shower was terrible. Five min shower turned into ten minutes. Breakfast was average. There was a worker named CiCi that was an absolute delight to be around. She completely took customer service to another level. She personally made sure everyone was happy with everything. Nothing but smiles and a great attitude. I would stay there again just because of her!

During check in reception didn’t give all information like WiFi info, breakfast time, check out time…etc. No amenities in room e.g. dental kit, shaving kit, slippers …etc. shampoo bottle was empty. Checking out time is 11:00 am !!! 😳 No tea in the room, only coffee. Breakfast is good. Parking is available. Room is specious and clean.

I checked in after receiving an email giving me the option to select my own room and preferred check-in time. I chose a specific room and a 3:00 PM check-in. Since I was running slightly early, I called the hotel to ask if arriving about ten minutes ahead would be okay. The female front-desk agent confirmed without mentioning any issues. When I arrived... about fifteen minutes before my selected time... the same staff member gave me keys to a completely different room on another floor. When I asked why, she told me the room I’d chosen “wasn’t ready.” That would’ve been helpful to know when I called or when I first arrived! On top of that, she wasn’t friendly on the phone or in person and didn’t even greet me at check-in. If I’d known my chosen room wouldn’t be available, I could’ve continued the business I was handling and checked in once it was ready. Unfortunately, the room I did get came with its own set of issues: loud stomping and running noises overhead, being awakened at 5 AM by the same occupants, and strange bubbling or gurgling noises afterward that made it impossible to fall back asleep... I have no idea where the sounds were originating from. I could even hear normal conversations from the next room, which says a lot about how thin the walls are. To top it off, the elevator made enough rumbling and creaking noises to make you wonder whether it might break down, and the bathroom had no ventilation. While the room itself was decent in appearance, the overall stay was frustrating from start to finish, especially since most of it could’ve been avoided with a little communication and courtesy at the front desk. I've stayed here before and was satisfied with the check-in process, room, breakfast and the overall stay, but this time it was a disappointment.

1st Brian at desk was so nice. We had late check in and he was informative and helpful. Recommended Grotto and that we could just walk right over. We left early Sunday and Brian was there again, and again polite and friendly. We fill room was good, clean and breakfast was fine.but it was the staff that made this a place to revisit.

Breakfast was actually kind of fun. We also enjoyed the games in the lobby. Also the walk to down town isn't bad at all.
