The room was good, but the bathroom could use some sprucing up. Just. Refresh. The breakfast was good and very convenient.

My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Camp Springs (November 6-8) was truly outstanding. This hotel is a fantastic example of a clean, comfortable, and well-managed property. The Best Sleep Experience The suite itself (Suite 215) was exceptionally clean and felt very welcoming. The real highlight, however, was the bedding. The mattresses were perfectly medium-firm, providing excellent support without being hard. Paired with what I can honestly say were the best pillows I have ever slept on, the sleep experience was phenomenal. They were soft enough to be luxurious, yet still offered ideal support for my head, neck, and lower body. Peace, Quiet, and Security I also greatly appreciated the peaceful environment. During my stay on the second floor, there was no issue with disruptive noise—I experienced no loud music, hollering, or cussing, which ensured a completely restful stay. I felt safe and secure both inside the hotel and in the surrounding area. The hotel provides convenient key access options, allowing guests to use either the traditional card key provided by the front desk or the Hilton App on their phone to securely enter their suite door. Delicious, High-Quality Breakfast The complimentary breakfast exceeded all expectations. Everything was freshly prepared and, most importantly, not overcooked or dry. The scrambled eggs were excellent, the pancakes were wonderfully soft, and the oatmeal was cooked to perfection. The available fresh fruit was a great component, and I appreciated being able to take some fruit to enjoy on my road trip back to Charleston! This Hampton Inn & Suites gets my highest recommendation for anyone traveling to the Camp Springs area. Lillie Willis (mother) and Dwayne Willis (my son).

Please stay away from this property. Upon my arrival the front desk clerk appeared to not want.to work. She wasn't friendly no smile and came off rude. It definitely confirmed my feeling when she kept telling me my card for incidentals was not working. I advised her I had money on the card and this should not be the case. I later found out she charged me for a booking that I paid for in advance. The reasoning why the card was not working for incidentals. I gave her a new card for the incidental for $150 which she charged me and the hold did not drop instead the charge was processed. After several attempts of calling the property the phone lines immediately hung up. When i made contact with a new desk clerk she advised she would issue a refund for the duplicate charges. In the meantime, it's a whole week later my funds have not been refunded. When asked can there be some bonus points or something provided for compensations for my troubles I was told flat out No. When I advised I would call corporate and right a bad review she became ignorant. I called and left a message with the property manager James and a week later no return call. I decided to pop up at the property today. The front desk staff rolled her eyes when she realized it was me. Wait so you guys charged me 3 times for a room and Im not suppose to check in on my money. No, we sorry here is a free upgrade ilon your next stay or nothing. Take it from me they double charging and think it's okay. STAY AWAY!

If I could give this place negative stars, I sincerely would. I had to file a formal email complaint with Hilton Corporate AND open a case with Hilton Guest Services. Something I've NEVER had to do before at ANY location. I’ve been a loyal Hilton Honors member for years and have never encountered a manager as rude and unprofessional as James Hodges. His attitude toward guests is dismissive, condescending, and completely out of line with Hilton’s standards of hospitality. After reading other reviews, it’s clear my experience wasn’t an isolated incident; many guests have described the same pattern of disrespect and poor customer service. Hilton should seriously reconsider allowing someone with such an unprofessional demeanor to represent their brand. This location desperately needs stronger leadership and better guest relations training.
