A special thank you to Eric, who handled a hectic situation in an admirable way. There was a misunderstanding with the cleaning department who labeled my room as vacant. I had a man open my door while I was on my bed and I freaked out. The man had a thick accent, making it hard to understand. I asked him repeatedly who sent him and he referred to the manager as a "he." So, I assumed it was the only male on staff who happened to be Eric. I took my frustration out on Eric, despite him telling me that it wasn't him. I was convinced otherwise. I accused him regardless. Eric did not react. Instead, he remained calm and respectful. Thank you to Ms. Glenese, who walked me through what happened. She clarified that it was the cleaning dept. manager, who later came down to speak with me. The manager apologized and said it was her fault; due to her bad handwriting. However, she also stated my room number was on the list; which contradicts the whole scenario. She even said I could put the latch on the door for extra security. The audacity. That's not how you handle that type of situation. If I wanted to deal with that lack of quality service, I would've went to the american Inn next door. I had every right to be upset, but I could've handled it differently. I shouldn't have taken it out on Eric. I tried to give him some cash, as a token of my apology. But he politely refused to accept the money. I was even redundant, begging him to take it. Still, he refused. I am truly impressed and in awe even, by the level of dignity he has. I couldn't buy his forgiveness but he accepted my apology anyways, which made it more sincere. I am truly sorry for misjudging him. I truly appreciate the way he handled this situation. Not many can remain calm during a thunderstorm, but he did. That requires a strength of character that deserves respect. Thank you Eric <3!

I liked this hotel but I feel that it’s not worth the price per night. I did use the gym for a late night workout it was cool, the TV didn’t work in the gym but that’s fine. The parking lot is actually terrible it’s super low and barely any spots why am Ipaying $40 for that? The staff was fine especially at the restaurant and the room was great.

I can't say enough about how pleasant and professional the staff was to us. Everyone from the reception to housekeeping is hardworking and eager to help.

My fiancée and I are locals but have stayed at the Bethesdan a few times for staycations. I want to give a shout out to Mike who checked us in this last time. He went above and beyond with customer satisfaction. He was kind, helpful and did everything possible to ensure we had a good experience. A+++ to Mike!

Disappointing experience, out of character for Hiltons. First off, unexpected charges include parking is $40, along with a continental breakfast that runs $25 bucks for fare that would otherwise be free at other hotels.
Amenities were clean. However, basic necessities, such as spair toiletries, were unavailable at the front desk if forgotten. There was a small market in the lobby where I was informed I would have been able to purchase them has they not been out of stock. All in all, not worth the price, and a fat cry away from a typical Hilton experience. I would recommend avoiding unless you just need a room and don't plan to stick around.
