Great, clean hotels and very quiet. It is just not walkable to anything. It is right next to 270 and 495 which are the major hubs to get you anywhere around DC or up to Frederick and even Baltimore. I guess I’m just a little spoiled about being able to walk to stores and having more things to do walking distance. But if you’re looking for a great place to sleep, rest, not be bothered and not have to worry about what area you are in this is a great option for you.

We had a great time and will be back! Customer service was great! And above and beyond other places I've stayed. We were greeted every time we entered or exited the lobby area. A little after check in, I received a text message asking me how things were going so far (Thanks, Christopher). When my wife waited in line to ask a question about the pool, she was offered a bottle of water. Staff were friendly and focused on their role to make our stay great. I was a little nervous about the room layout during booking because we have kids under 6 years old. The pull out couch is closest to the room door. However, the room layout turned out to be my new favorite. When you enter, there is a counter and cabinets with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink on one wall of the living area. Plus a chair and pull out sofa bed with a coffee table and side table in front of the tv. Then there was a desk by the sliding door. The bathroom set up was like the letter L. One door connects to the living area and one to the bedroom. The tub and toilet are in one area and the sink with large counter space in another. You can separate with a sliding door. The bedroom area had a large window, two night stands, and a dresser of drawers with a tv above. The room was exceptionally clean; no dust or stray hair in sight. The only food we ate was the complimentary free hot breakfast buffet each day. It was great. You enter and seat yourself at the restaurant. There are various stations for coffee and juice; breads, muffins, and bagels; fruit; waffle makers (you make your own); omelet stations (two staff working and each making two omelets at once) and hot buffet items (bacon, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal and cereal). The hours work whether you are there for business or vacation. There is even a sign in the elevator to tell you the approximate wait times based on the window of time. That was so thoughtful. The drinks were great. Thank you for that. What a great way to show people you care. The indoor pool was heated open for use. Our kids loved it. There is also a hot tub. The gym had more equipment then I've seen at a non-resort. Great variety and space. Parking was easy and connected to the hotel which is great in the cold weather. The location is close to shops and restaurants and the highway. Whether you are staying for business or pleasure, this place is perfect! We will be back.

Clear Discrimination Against a Disabled Guest with a Service Dog My wife is a disabled individual accompanied by a legitimate service dog, and we experienced blatant discrimination at this hotel. Staff illegally required that we present a service dog certificate and that my dog wear a vest in order to remain in the bar area. When I calmly explained that no certification or vest is required by law, and that businesses may only ask two specific questions under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the situation escalated instead of being resolved. The front desk supervisor, Mr. Yannick Gouanette, not only failed to correct the staff’s unlawful actions, but stated that he could “adjust the hotel policy” to explicitly restrict service dogs from accessing areas of public use that are open to non-disabled patrons. He also indicated that he owns a service dog himself and that the dog had a certificate. This statement demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of the law and reflects an open intent to discriminate against disabled individuals. Our drinks were taken away in an extremely rude and humiliating manner, and we were ordered to leave simply for asserting my legal rights. This conduct is unacceptable, degrading, and a clear violation of federal disability law. The lack of ADA training, professionalism, and respect shown by both staff and management was alarming. I strongly warn any disabled guests or service dog handlers to avoid this hotel until proper ADA training and policy corrections are implemented. No one should be subjected to this treatment for lawfully exercising their rights.
