We stayed here at the end of September (at the time of post it’s been almost 7 weeks) as a combined 40th/41st birthday celebration for me and my sister, a two night stay with adjoining rooms. We checked in around 6:30/7pm (maybe later) The toilet in our restroom was plugged when we checked in, there were no tissues and about 6 squares of bath tissue. We reported the issue as soon an it was apparent, the maintenance person on duty informed us that it wasn’t going to be able to be addressed that night and that they would address it the next morning (while we were out) we were advised to share the rest room with adjoining room (my sister and Brother in laws room) by the way their sink was not draining and issue was reported as well upon arrival. When we returned from a day of sightseeing the following day the water issues were not resolved, we reported the issues with video evidence and were promised a full refund. It’s been over a month and each time we speak to someone we are promised a refund within 48 business hours but the funds have yet to be refunded.

I really wanted to give this Hotel a 5-star rating especially for the fantastic service I received from your customer service front desk team, however there were a few things that couldn’t be overlooked that I feel are important for a hotel stay. Let me start with the positives; the check-in was smooth and friendly and handed a nice little bag with two complimentary bottles of water and two cookies 😊. The room was very clean and had the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash. There was a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine and ice-bucket. It was a spacious room with a desk and chair and a separate chair as well.
The cons of the stay I felt were pretty unavoidable to mention. First the noise pollution in the room. Now I’m not a person who is a light sleeper but if you are this might be a problem because even for myself it began to weigh on my nerves by the last day of my stay. Once you turn the bathroom light on when you arrive, it triggers the air vent in the bathroom and even after you turn the light off the air and the sound of the air doesn’t go off for the rest of your stay even when you have shut the lights off. So I had to keep the bathroom door closed so I wouldn’t have to hear the noise from the bathroom vents air blowing. Also the AC/heating system in the bedroom isn’t so quiet. On my last day, there was som banging from the floor above me when I called I was told it was landscaping however I don’t understand why there would be landscaping being done inside the hotel 🙃. Very mysterious.😅
Other cons would be that they only clean the room every other day; there is no safe in the room which would suck if you where a local traveler who didn’t have a lock for their luggage there would be no where to store and protect valuables. And finally there are no drawers only two shelves and a space by the front door to hang your clothes. Also there was a leak I noticed on my last day by the toilet.
Overall aside from these cons, I found the price to be very reasonable $366 for a 3-night stay. The front desk was kind enough to allow me a late check-out to accommodate a promotional virtual interview I had, so I was very grateful.
Despite the cons, I would stay here again. The great customer service and the cleanliness of the rooms are paramount for me. And if you have never had Cracker Barrel be sure to stop by and get served by Denise. She’s the best. It’s literally right down the road.
The hotel offers complimentary BKFST however I didn’t try it.

This is the worst HGI service I have ever experienced. The breakfast quality was bad but worse was the attitudes. The eggs were big blocks and not broken up at all. Looked like liquid eggs congealed into a rectangle Jello mold. The sausages were barely browned or warm. The bacon was sitting in an inch of grease and was half raw. The woman working there was yelling at the guests, clearly irritated and frustrated and when she spotted someone spilled something she went ballistic. She complained to other guests about guests that were staying in hotel. She was rude to me as well because she was already in a foul mood. Terrible. Get another job if you hate it so much.

This place sucked! First of all,the rooms were way tinier than it looked in photos, and not to mention the doors were all scratched up and didn’t lock!, and for some reason we had to pay 40 dollars for breakfast? What a scam! And the food wasn’t even good and the juice had weird particles in it like bugs! I do not recommend going here for almost 800 dollars.
