  I recently stayed at this hotel and had an unpleasant experience with one of the workers who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering basic courtesy, they spoke with a dismissive tone and made me feel like I was bothering them whenever I asked a simple question. Their attitude created an unwelcoming atmosphere and overshadowed the rest of my stay. A hotel should make guests feel comfortable, not stressed, and this employee’s behavior definitely left a negative impression. I hope management addresses this, because the service I received was far from acceptable.

  We were unable to check in due to a health emergency. Yes, the “fine print” does state that we would be charged. We were unable to call to cancel last night because well, we had an emergency. We were charged despite explaining the situation to the woman who called and accosted us this morning. Come on. Everyone is suffering in this current economy. If your rooms would have been sold out due to an event we would have understood being charged. We will be disputing the charge with our bank. We hope that you choose somewhere else to stay, and if not, I surely hope the woman at the front desk isn’t working while you’re there. She doesn’t understand the concept of hospitality or customer service.

  t’s pricy for its location but otherwise just as expected. Conveniently located near shops, the mall, movie theatre next door and multiple restaurants near by.

  I will start by saying, they did refund our stay in its entirety. However, I feel it never should have happened to begin with and I never did get the corporate number I requested. We arrived on Wednesday night. It was around 8. We got as far as the lobby to get the room and decided to go over to the Applebee's across the street to get dinner before going to the room. We get back from Applebee's and proceed to the room. The TV was on and said " Welcome Amy." I thought that was cute. We were exhausted so we paid little attention to detail. We quickly brushed our teeth and went to bed. I get up in the morning to get in the shower and realize that bathroom had not been clean in a long time. My husband wiped scum off the shower. There nail clippings on the floor, urine speckles around the toilet, what looked like dried blood in two spots on the shelf below the mirror. There was so much filth around the bottom of the walls and mopboards it was making its way up the wall. The door to the bathroom was missing a handle. I called down to the front desk to ask if it could be cleaned and was told no because housekeeping doesn't come in until 8am. I had a funeral to be at, so we made do with what we had. When preparing to checkout, I videoed the room. I captured the filthy bathroom. I also videoed the rest of the room showing everything worked when we left and that the room keys were locked in the room when we left, so there was no going back in. When we checked out, I asked for the number to corporate. The general manager came out to greet me. She asked what was wrong. I told her. I offered to show her the video. She declined. She promptly stated that she was going to refund my stay. She stated this was an opportunity to retrain her staff and she would be doing some retraining. I hope she does. In the meantime, if you really need to stay at a Hampton Inn, there's one in Pawtucket just off I95. I won't say it was much better with their crazy quiet policy, $150 incidental hold, and I95 traffic, but it was clean.
