I booked online and was given room 525. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were hit with a strong smell of urine. When I unpacked my carbon monoxide detector, it immediately started going off. It was 11 PM, and we had no choice but to pack everything back up and wait in the car for safety. When I told the front desk, they said they had “just passed an inspection” and mentioned a long-term resident with two dogs whose room had supposedly been “gutted.” But the odor and dirty couch clearly said otherwise. The front desk also told us that because of “the big event in town,” every hotel within 50 miles was sold out and that we “should just stay.” Thankfully, one phone call to another hotel proved that wrong. I was promised a refund and given a business card for management, yet my card was still charged. I emailed management and never received a response. I eventually had to file a dispute with my credit card company and even contacted the city about the safety issues. The fire department was concerned, which made me question whether an inspection was actually done. After all that, I had to contact Hilton Global just to get my rightful refund. As a Hilton Gold member, I was shocked that no one offered so much as an apology or points for the inconvenience. This property does not value guests, loyalty, or safety. Whatever you do, do not stay here.

During our stay we were displaced from our home because the basement flooded. With that being said the people who work at the front desk are truly awful! They have terrible attitudes and their customers service is awful! Not sure if people remember working for a hotel you need to have hospitality and the two men who work the front desk are a zero out of ten I recommend not asking for anything because you will be met with rudeness

We sold our house and needed a room for 2 days. Because the Big E was in town, we feel like we got gouged. I wasn't very happy about it

Easy to get to the Big E from here. And housekeeping made a towel animal - have never seen that in a Homewood Suites before!

I booked and prepaid for a three night stay. Travel plans changed and I was delayed in arriving. I called and informed the hotel of this and let them know ow I would either arrive very late for checking or possibly the next day. I was not looking for a price adjustment I was simply making sure my PREPAID PAID IN FULL room would be held for me. I was ASSURED by a staff member in writing that my room would be held and ready for me when I arrived. I provided my confirmation number and was told a note would be placed on my reservation . Well fast forward to the next morning, I arrived and found out they cancelled my room and charged me full freight. The nice staff member who was at the front desk when I arrived hustled to get me a room, which she eventually did but it was a room inferior to the original one I selected. And it was. It connected to my Hilton Honors account so I can’t even use the WiFi. Hotel is clean and conveniently located. It is very much in need of a renovation and/or updating.
