    I checked in online so I didn't need to stop at front desk. I'm a Gold member. I should have had 2 water bottles in my room but none were there. Also noticed that there was no ice bucket in the room, nor a bar of soap to wash my hands. Other than that, room was clean. Breakfast was good, the lady working there is very friendly.

    I stay here frequently and am looking forward to the renovation, a freshen up is just what this place needs to be truly outstanding. Don't sleep on the breakfast here, it's excellent! Plenty of interesting toppings, both for the scrambled eggs and potatoes like taco-style chicken, salsa, cheese, crema, and Cholula hot sauce, it's great. As a bonus, when they have chia overnight oats, the other toppings like brown sugar, blueberries and craisins make for a super tasty and filling breakfast! It's one of the reasons (besides the location for me) that keeps me coming back here.

    Homewood Suites in Springfield Is a wonderful stay. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is very helpful and breakfast is the best. We have stayed here a few times and always have been wonderful. Great location as well

    I booked online and was given room 525. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were hit with a strong smell of urine. When I unpacked my carbon monoxide detector, it immediately started going off. It was 11 PM, and we had no choice but to pack everything back up and wait in the car for safety. When I told the front desk, they said they had “just passed an inspection” and mentioned a long-term resident with two dogs whose room had supposedly been “gutted.” But the odor and dirty couch clearly said otherwise. The front desk also told us that because of “the big event in town,” every hotel within 50 miles was sold out and that we “should just stay.” Thankfully, one phone call to another hotel proved that wrong. I was promised a refund and given a business card for management, yet my card was still charged. I emailed management and never received a response. I eventually had to file a dispute with my credit card company and even contacted the city about the safety issues. The fire department was concerned, which made me question whether an inspection was actually done. After all that, I had to contact Hilton Global just to get my rightful refund. As a Hilton Gold member, I was shocked that no one offered so much as an apology or points for the inconvenience. This property does not value guests, loyalty, or safety. Whatever you do, do not stay here.
