Welcome to Homewood Suites by Hilton Hadley Amherst, conveniently located a short distance off I-91, within the heart of the five consortium. Our newly built hotel offers state-of-the-art accommodations for guests to work, play, and relax, and it is in the perfect location if you are planning a visit to one of the area’s five colleges: University of Massachusetts, Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, and Smith College. Enjoy the area’s unique and award-winning restaurants and visit attractions including Atkins Farm, the Eric Carle National Yiddish Book center, and the Emily Dickinson Museum.
Every suite at our extended-stay hotel has a living area, large workspace, and fully furnished kitchen. Stay connected with complimentary WiFi, relax on the sofa, and watch TV. Here with family? Choose a one- or two-bedroom suite for more space and privacy. We’re also happy to provide high chairs and cribs to keep young ones comfortable.
Start each day with a complimentary hot full breakfast, and join us every Wednesday for our complimentary evening social, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm*. Our convenience store is open 24-hours for snacks, drinks and frozen meals, and there’s plenty of restaurants in downtown Amherst to try. We also offer a complimentary fitness center, 24-hour business center, and meeting space with A/V equipment.

- BPBen PDec 26, 20254.0Wrapping up a one week stay here. Have stayed here multiple times and the property and rooms are wonderful. It still feels like new condition for the most part. The one area that could be improved is the hospitality of the front desk staff. Not a single time over the course of one week were we greeted in the lobby when coming or going! The staff seem to hide in the back office and only come when you are clearly waiting at the front desk counter. Maybe not a big deal, but a simple hello or have a good day goes a long way! It’s clear this isn’t prioritized at this Hilton property.

They put me in a room that was right next to an outdoor pet area which was so helpful. You’d never know it was a pet friendly hotel, the room was so clean and no weird odors. David the night auditor was so courteous and professional during check-in/check out and Josh from maintenance is the BEST. My car wouldn’t start one morning and Josh was able to jump it for me within 5-10 minutes of me stopping by the front desk to ask for help. Both front desk receptionists that I interacted with were so friendly, as well. Definitely staying there again on my next hometown visit!

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the fact there was a pool for the kids and there was no heads up or warning it would be closed for maintenance. There are several other options in the area and we would have just chosen a different one. Expedia tried to mediate a partial refund but it was denied by the hotel. Very disappointing and would not stay again due to the poor customer service handling this issue. The hotel was clean and staff was kind and this is not a reflection of them.
