I wouldn’t recommend this hotel but I also wouldn’t tell you to avoid it.
Pros:
1. Very clean.
2. Good location with plenty of parking.
3. Very friendly and accommodating staff especially the overnight ladies (we will get back to them)
4. The breakfast options change slightly each day.
5. Value for price.
6. 24 hour coffee in lobby
Cons:
1. Thin walls. Had to change rooms on second (Friday) night (we stayed a total of 6) extremely loud guests in the room next to us. Front desk attempted to contact them but couldn’t. Moves our room and refunded the night without me asking them to do so.
2. Seems to be a party hotel or maybe just attracts loud people. On the 6th night someone on the floor allowed their children to run up and down the halls until midnight and then another person started playing loud music at 1:30 am. We had a 7 am flight and needed to get up very early so that wasn’t helpful.
3. Storage in the room. For a short stay it would have been fine but for 6 nights it was inconvenient.
4. Went to do laundry on the third day after switching rooms and the washer was broken. Maintenance fixed it the same day. Did laundry the following day the dryer didn’t work. Wasted a $1 and time only to have to hang the laundry in the room to dry.
I have stayed at a Tru before and it wasn’t super loud so maybe it’s just this one. They are doing renovations right now. Hopefully they are soundproofing the rooms better. Either way it’s definitely not a horrible hotel and some of the nights were quiet it all depends on who your neighbors are.
Hôtel correcte. Rien d'extravagant.
Chambre agréable, lits confortables, grande douche. Bon rapport qualité-prix.
Il n’était à la base qu’une simple étape dans notre trajet mais finalement je retiens l’adresse et j’y reviendrai pour visiter la région.

**Update**
***I went to the lobby and spoke with the front desk, where they offered a room change and a refund for the night. I accepted the offer, packed my belongings, and moved to a smaller room on the 4th floor.
Upon checkout, I asked about the refund and was told they didn’t know how to process it, but that it should still be issued because it was noted in the system. Unfortunately, I never received the refund.
As a result, we lost a night of sleep, had to move rooms, and missed the free breakfast because we were exhausted from not sleeping.
That sums up our weekend stay at this hotel. Next month, we’ll be staying at a different hotel in Chicopee. Since we live in the area, we were just hoping for a relaxing family weekend getaway.***
Let me start this review with communication between staff and guests. I stayed at this hotel for the weekend with my wife and teenage daughter, mainly so we could use the pool since it’s winter and ours is closed.
Unfortunately, the guests in the room above us were extremely disruptive. They were constantly jumping and making noise throughout the night. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they would eventually settle down, but that didn’t happen. By 10 a.m., the noise had only gotten louder. I called the front desk to explain the situation. They offered to move us to another room, but I declined because my family was already settled, and I didn’t feel we should have to repack and relocate due to someone else’s behavior.
The front desk said they would speak with the other guests, which they did. The noise stopped for about 30 minutes, but then it started right back up. At that point, I was extremely upset and ready to check out, as it felt like the noise was being made intentionally. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this hotel.
As for the room itself, there were no drawers or dressers to store clothes, which I found strange. There were only a few hooks for coats, so we had to keep our clothes either out in the open or in our bags, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, the pool area was nice and clean, and my wife and daughter did enjoy it.
The check-in staff was very polite and welcoming. The lobby is well maintained, and I really appreciated the free 24-hour coffee and hot cocoa station available for guests.
Tru by Hilton definitely stands out on the roadside with its bold colours. Once inside the lobby gives vibes of a posh upscale hotel but with budget friendly prices.
The desk staff were professional and checking in was quick and efficient. We were also informed of when breakfast would be ready.
We have stayed in some really posh hotels for premium prices and we were very pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room (#431). It was immaculate and beautifully designed.
The extra touches of a pull out desk, huge TV, plenty of pegs, hangers, fridge, ironing board and iron and extra towels were much appreciated. The shower was massive. Loved the soap/shampoo dispensers.
Breakfast was AMAZING! A big shoutout to Paula for the chinwag. A lovely lady.
Great breakfast choice included eggs, juices, cereals, bagels, toast, fruits, pancakes and the excellent hot Lavazza coffee that was brewed to perfection. Another positive note is the 6 am breakfast time including weekends which is super convenient for the early risers.
Tru also boasts free water, ice station, gym, swimming pool, washing machines and dryers, work station including a printer. Foosball for all ages, and other games too.
Tru is a fantastic hotel that’s perfect for business travellers, families and groups. A TRU family friendly hotel with a wide range of amenities. Great spot if you want comfort, convenience, and no-nonsense value.

Great breakfast options. Room very clean. Great location near highway access. Welcoming common spaces to hang out and watch TV or play games. Jonathan, the manager, was very helpful and addressed all our questions during our stay. I would highly recommend.
