    Wouldn't had known there had been a dog or cat in the room prior to staying in it. Wasn't there ten minutes before my allergies started to flare. Couldn't breath all night all morning long! Rust on the shower rail. Paint chipping out of the bottom of the tub. The ice had balls of dry grass in it, I think it was dry grass. I had scabs around my eyes and nose from allergies when I got home. I'll never stay here again not recommending it. I only came for the red velvet waffles! The mix was nasty, i.e. not mixed correctly, and the cooker over cooked it. Ruined my new year. & The made knocked on the door 2 hours before check out time! I was struggling to breath barely able to sleep from the animals y'all allow folk to keep in your hotel!

    The front desk staff initially came across as somewhat abrupt, though their demeanor improved once it was clear that I was a guest. Additional customer-service training may be beneficial. This may also be influenced by the hotel’s location adjacent to an entertainment center, which likely results in higher foot traffic. Improved signage would be helpful, as the property is tucked away on the interior side of a bank and can be difficult to locate, with multiple roads leading into the area. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff serving it were friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

    I have been staying at this property for i believe 2 years. I come here for work and to see my family. The customer service from every single employee makes this place amazing!!! It’s always clean. Breakfast is great, Ms. Sharon always is a great warm and welcoming smile to see. Monday the 15th was an absolutely horrible day. I was coming into town because my father is unfortunately on hospice and I got a call that he was declining quickly. So i pack a bag and jump in car to get to Shreveport ASAP (I live in chicago). It was one horrible thing after another and I was not able to make my reservation here because I had car issues and needed to change it. When I tell you Cassidy went above and beyond to help my family and I, that would be an understatement! She was a heaven sent angel. She literally either needs a raise, promotion, or stock in Hilton because she helped move my reservation etc. She was great. I was annoyed because I did ask at 9 PM to use the conference room to work and teach an online class. I did not want to do it in my room because i had family, and I did not want to use the breakfast area as to not bother anyone but Cassidy’s supervisor said, they would have to charge me full price. I did not need any special accommodations just a quiet place to teach for an hour. i just needed a table, chair, and light. So eventually Cassidy’s supervisor said, ‘no’. Which whatever, that’s the only down part of this trip. Other than that the staff is AMAZING, warm, kind, and hospitable. For that reason we have been staying here for a few years.

    Great property with great staff. Location is in a high traffic area but at least it's in a less murdery part of Shreveport.
