0 transpareny at all. Charged us around $1300 total when it was supposed to be $600. Multiple people we knew had the same thing happen and we had 0 help. Stay away not worth the hassle. Had a guy who set up our booking who was fired still acted like he worked there and then we were thrown in the dark we were told free parking, $50 a night parking. We were told they were double bed rooms it was a bed and a pull out couch. And the prices were more. They even charged me a different price when I got there versus when I left and on top of that an extra $300 charge because they claim they didn’t get the payment even though we were told we were good.

My family and I previously stayed at this location,so we decided to again for my birthday trip. This establishment hasn't failed us yet. Upon arrival Ms Michelle greeted us with a smile. Her calm demeanor was welcoming after a long trip. Joe, the valet associate( although he didn't valet our vehicle) was very welcoming and personable during our interactions. The hotel is a block from Bouburn street. I would definitely recommend this location if you don’t want to stay within the French Quarters or canal street.

A Disappointing Stay at a Mid-Range Hotel This is a mid-range hotel — don’t expect too much. The rooms are old, and there was a constant creaking noise that no one could identify. I had to sleep with earplugs. On the first day, the room I was given was not the one I had reserved. After I pointed this out, they changed my room, but apparently didn’t update their records. Late at night, someone knocked on my door, and then the front desk called saying, “You’re in the wrong room.” Once I explained the situation, they apologized, but of course, I couldn’t sleep after that. The flags outside the hotel are torn — doesn’t anyone notice? Breakfast was average. Most of the staff seemed unfriendly, except Michele at the front desk, who was extremely helpful and kind. The location is decent, but if I ever come back to New Orleans, I won’t stay at this hotel again. I trusted the Hilton name, but unfortunately, I was disappointed.

Overall a decent stay but I was given a room with safety hazards and given access to 2 other guests’ rooms. —- The carpet on our room was ripped all along the edge exposing nails. Beyond the fact that it’s a hazard in general, we were traveling with a crawling toddler. When asked to change rooms, I was given the key to a room that was occupied by other guests TWICE. Apparently the system was down and it was saying the room was available but I had to carry my luggage and child to a room that was occupied twice. I was told I’d be called with a new room once housekeeping had done their rounds- I never got a call and ended up throwing a blanket over the nails. The curtains were also challenging to open and close bc they were torn and kept getting caught in the roller.

The location is great! Near St. Louis cemetery no.1, storyville museum and less than .5 to Preservation Hall. It's accessible along with a nice Wednesday night social. The staff has been wonderful from Taylor at the front desk on our checkin, to getting us squared away for laundry, package retrieval and over all niceness and great customer service. Excellent Em asset to the Homewood Suites family! I will come back here and stay especially for service like hers. She's wonderful along with the older woman who worked to cover part of my co-worker's shift on her birthday. I believe her last name is Griffin/Griffith. One last mention- Caroline was a true delight as a concierge! She was enthusiastic on her recommendations along with her genuine interest in making sure we had the best time here. We loved the Storyville museum as well as the other events she found for us.
