I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this hotel. I was explicitly told over the phone that early check-in at 2:00 PM would be available. Based on that information, I arrived expecting to check in without issue. Upon arrival, I was then told that the room was not ready and that standard check-in is actually 4:00 PM. While I understand and accept standard policies, it is unacceptable to be told one thing over the phone and then given completely different information upon arrival. I was assured the room would be ready “soon,” so I waited. 4:00 PM came and went, and there was still no room available. No one contacted me with an update, explanation, or apology. What made this situation even more frustrating was that guests who arrived after us were checked in and received their rooms before we did, while we were left waiting with no communication. It wasn’t until 4:30 PM, after I personally went back to the front desk to ask what was going on, that I was finally told the truth — the front desk had gotten busy and forgot to inform us that the room was ready. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially from a hotel brand that claims professionalism and quality customer service. Guests should not have to repeatedly check in or chase down staff to receive basic updates. This delay disrupted our plans, wasted our time, and caused unnecessary frustration. If early check-in is not guaranteed, guests should be told that clearly and honestly from the start. Better communication, accountability, and respect for guests’ time are absolutely needed here. I would not recommend this location based on this experience.

Only about 4-5 blocks from Bourbon St. the 46 street car passes right in front and the 49 and other lines just down the street on Canal. The staff was nice and they offer breakfast everyday.

Walkable to bourbon street but away from the noise. Good spacious rooms with kitchenettes and essentials. Loved our stay here. Note: valet parking only and cost 45$ per day but great service if you ask me. Breakfast was also good , better than most Hilton hotels. Highly recommend for the budget travelers looking to stay near bourbon street. Also has a pool btw.

This hotel is a mess. Arrived and had to change the room two times due to blood on the sheets, dirty bathroom and dog hair on the floor. Front desk don’t do their job properly at all. No manager was on site the whole time to discuss the issues here. The day after I checked out my card was charged for valet that I did not have. No helpful at all !!! Had to call Hilton customer service to actually get assistance. Do yourself a favor and just don’t stay here.

I booked my stay here at least a month in advance and requested an early check in due to the arrival of our morning flight. I requested a special items in which I received an email that it would be accommodated to the best of their ability which was completely over looked. On arrival, at least 2 hours after the flight, at 12:15pm, we were told the room was not ready and we should come back at 2pm. One reason being that there are guests who are checking out late and that housekeeping is not at our room yet. At this point the lobby was filled with guests waiting. We left and came back a little after two when we were told to check back in 25 minutes. After 30 minutes, the lady who was working with Alexis, pointed to Alexis and rudely said “go to her”. Alexis politely told me AGAIN, that the room wasn’t ready, housekeeping is still not there. At 3:50 pm, after sitting in the lobby since 2:15pm, my husband went to the counter and Alexis told him to get me for my ID. Alexis took the deposit for $80 and handed us the key cards. While walking to the room, we could see a group of three housekeepers on the floor our room was on, just giggling away, working with no sense of urgency. Entering the room was nothing different from a regular hotel room because nothing requested was accommodated. Yet we received a QR code to scan to tip people with whom we have never interacted with. The room itself was nice, the bed was soft and comfortable, however it was NOT, the king room we booked. The headboard was definitely king size but the bed was a basic queen. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, utensils and appliances. Breakfast was horrific. Almost inedible. All I was able to eat was two pieces of toast, an orange and a banana. The butter and spreads for the breads were very messy and unsanitary. With the change of climate and the rainy weather, I got sick the same night we checked in. In the morning, I messaged the front desk to request late check out which was initially denied. Virginia then offered me an hour extra to check out because I had to almost beg being that I am sick. I even had to bring up the fact that I had wait hours after arrival to check in because other guest had late check out. I have wasted my time and money booking here, as well as the experience received was very disappointing. ETA: There were long strains on hair on the carpet and on the bathroom floor. I didn’t see them until they were sticking to my socks.
