Racquel is the best I checked in today and her personality is definitely one for the books. She made me feel right at home away from home, gave me a detailed layout of the hotel and where I could find everything. Her bubbly personality is one you need in your place of business and she will keep me coming to stay with Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter. She kept telling me that my stay here was going to be the best and it’s already starting off great meeting a great person like Racquel. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Bring your kids family and friends to Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter. Racquel will take care of you.

Absolutely unacceptable and deeply disturbing experience. Items were stolen from my room by the housekeeper assigned to it, Roxana. When I reported this to management, no action was taken whatsoever. There was no investigation, no accountability, and no concern shown for the safety or property of guests. What made this situation even worse was the behavior of the housekeeping manager, who openly stated that even if staff steal from guests, the hotel is “not liable.” When I requested compensation or resolution for my missing items, the manager laughed in my face. That level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is appalling. I felt completely violated, disrespected, and dismissed. This hotel clearly does not value its guests, nor does it take theft by its employees seriously. Staying here is a risk, and I strongly urge others to reconsider booking if they care about their belongings or being treated with basic human decency. I will never return.

I'll start with the positive. The rooms smelled clean when we walked in. At first glance it even looked cleaned. The bed were comfortable. The staff was attentive and fast with request. However, when we made it back from walking all day and started too wine down, we realized it was cleaned decently. The carpet is dirty, there was a huge stain outside the door before you even get in the room. We went to take a shower and realized that the tub wasn't draining. So we had to call the front to get that taken care. Once that was done we realized there were long strings of black hair all over the shower AND there was residue around the tub. You could only see it of you pulled the curtain back and let the light hit it. I'm not a clean freak but I like clean things. It doesn't have to be "eat off the carpet " clean but at least make it where I can't see the dirty. Fool me a little bit. Now if the tub wouldn't drain when we went to take our shower then there's no way that tub was cleaned correctly because they should have noticed it wasn't draining during the cleaning process. Which makes me wonder now if they even changed the sheets. Another thing, you can't use the digital key (which I didn't know) to operate the elevator. I love the safety precaution, so I'm not complaining about that but it just sucks to have to go to the front desk to get a physical card just to access the elevator.

Very disappointed with my experience at the Hilton Honors | Central Business District, New Orleans. At check-in, I was ignored by the valet. When I attempted to raise a concern, a manager responded by calling me names instead of addressing the issue professionally. I later contacted Hilton customer service seeking help, but that interaction was also poor — the agent was antagonistic, offered no sincere apology, placed blame on me, and left me on hold for over ten minutes. Taken together, this reflects a lack of professionalism both at the property and through Hilton customer service. This is not the level of service I expect from Hilton.
