Feels old, outdated. The hallways were poorly painted, elevators were all banged up, slow and banged up auto entrance doors, my en suite bathroom had damaged taps, the two piece washroom had NO mirror. Breakfast was gross. I tried it once. Worst hotel Breakfast I ever had. However the staff were helpful and friendly, valet service was great, room was refreshed on time daily except the two bottles of water. They kept missing that. Carpets in hallways looked disgusting. Lots of stains. Luggege carts need to be upgraded as they're all banged up. Good location. Decent price I guess. Very outdated and old. But the beds were comfortable

I love this place. I try to stay here everytime I visit NOLA, it's centrally located, 2 blocks from convention center and Riverwalk outlets, it's located approximately 1 mile from Ceasars Superdome. About maybe 6 blocks from burbon street. The rooms are all suites but there a little unique the rooms open up to enclosed hallways on exit it feels like a motel encapsulated inside a nice hotel. Breakfast is included with an Omelette bar and a mangers kickback in the evening with free cocktails.

The Embassy was a very beautiful hotel to stay in. They have complementary breakfast which was very tasty. Be prepared to pay $49 to vallet because there isn't any public parking. The beds were so comfortable to sleep in! I believe all the rooms come with a balcony which I didn't expect so that was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was the mold at the top of my shower. I feel like If I'm paying to stay in a nice hotel I don't expect to see mold in my shower . I could of tried to call and request another room but we were tired and unpacked and just dealt with it .

Editing to add a few star. After posting the review I was contacted by management and eventually offered compensation. The remainder of the stay was better. Marvin and Nick both worked hard to make it right and genuinely were apologetic. I hope that my experience was an unfortunate one off.
The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the location is great. That said, the entirety of the property seems understaffed or unprepared for busy holiday and little things add up. We checked in on the Friday after Christmas, to a room with a listed occupancy of 4 and only 3 towels, no big deal. Saturday housekeeping took the dirty towels without leaving more. I requested towels from the front desk on Saturday, which I didn't receive until Sunday afternoon (after having to ask again) . On Saturday and Sunday, the made to order breakfast was so overwhelmed that the line made it completely unusable. On Monday, housekeeping did not restock the toilet paper in the room, and we ran out Tuesday morning forcing us to use the lobby restrooms.
Upon returning to our room on Tuesday afternoon we found that housekeeping had just tossed a trash bag with a single roll of toilet paper and a few towels in the room with out bothering to service the room or even empty the trashcans.
Even considering all of those things, the Valet has been the worst of the experience. Over the course of the first four nights of my stay the amount of time I've spent either waiting for the valet to bring my car or waiting for a valet to take my keys can be measured in hours with the average to get my car being over a half hour and close to an hour on one occasion making me and my family late to a planned activity. Valet is $49 per day and there is no self park option, so I'm left forced to pay over $300 on my seven night stay for a "service" that is a complete headache. When I complained I was told that the valet is a third party service and they can't offer any compensation, for two days I tried to connect with a manager and left my phone number for them to call me to no avail.
As frequent traveler and Diamond Honors member, I've never had a stay where I felt compelled to complain, let alone write a negative review. The experience at this property has been far below brand standard, and the lack of response from management when I asked to be contacted is completely unacceptable.
Editing to add that I can now also echo other's complaints about cold showers...perfect.

Hands down the worst Embassy Suites stay I’ve ever had, and honestly one of the worst hotel experiences overall.
• Our room was not ready until nearly 7:30 PM, which is absurd.
• The hotel is in a sketchy, noisy area with nonstop disturbances — including what sounded like drag racing from 2–6 AM. Sleep was impossible.
• On the day of departure there was NO HOT WATER. Completely unacceptable.
• The restaurant food was bad — I had to send back a quesadilla, something I never do.
• Check-in felt less like hospitality and more like interrogation.
• Front desk staff became visibly irritated when I asked for a room update every ~30 minutes after hours of waiting — as if the delay was my fault.
The only positives (and they barely register):
• The bartender was kind and professional and offered to replace the meal.
• They stored our bags while we waited — basic courtesy.
This property is an embarrassment to the Embassy Suites brand and an absolute joke of a so-called 4-star hotel in a major city. Poor management, poor service, poor experience.
Do not stay here.
