Our stay was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay at. I personally want to thank Erica and Gabby for being absolutely amazing to us while we stayed there, They are very outgoing, helpful, & polite. If you are in the area needing a hotel I highly recommend The Hampton Inn.

We stayed at the Hilton in New Iberia, Louisiana on Oct 22. While I appreciate that management acknowledged the confusion around my the stay, the service I experienced fell short of Hilton Standards. Communication through the mobile app/chat was slow, and an interaction with a front-desk staff member (Erica) felt impatient and unhelpful when I tried to add my another name to the reservation from out of state, so my family could check in locally. There were delays and mixed messages about room assignments, with claims that some information wasn’t visible on the screen and that other occupants were in the rooms initially assigned. I was told the staff member was new, which I support, but I cannot accept unprofessional behavior or staff discussing guests in the presence of others. I also witnessed what felt like unprofessional conversations with another guest, which did not align with Hilton’s values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, and Now. Hilton emphasizes guest-centric service, and this experience fell short of that standard.
Additionally, the two rooms originally assigned had other guests in them, and those guests were upset when the front desk allowed someone else to enter the rooms. The manager asked me to follow up via email with specifics, but I have not received a response after multiple attempts. I attempted to reach the property by phone without success, and it seemed staff were unable to pass along essential information between shifts, which left gaps in communication and only added to the frustration. If you’re considering a stay, you may want to drive a little further into Broussard or Lafayette as they are not able to be prepared for potential delays in service.
Don't expect the Hilton Standards here by anyone from the General Manager down to the front desk

I have mixed reviews about this hotel, but if I had to choose a hotel in this area to stay, this one would be LAST on the list. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, but I couldn’t don’t one of the most important things…. SHOWER! The shower head pressure was terrible. Water wouldn’t come out. Not only was this an issue for my room, but also my mom’s room and my uncle’s room. I called the front desk to inquire about it and she was like “ oh that’s due to the calcium buildup.” Breakfast was subpar. I went to fix a waffle and the mix seems to have gone bad. The orange juice wasn’t very fresh. I ended up at Whataburger for breakfast. The elevator has to be the scariest contraption I’ve ever rode. Honestly, it sounds like it’ll break down any minute now. Probably won’t be back. The ladies were nice though.

Staff was very friendly which helped cover up the dilapidated room we stayed in. The toilet seat was barely attached, the door safety lock was completely missing, the ice machine was out of order, the ac unit was falling apart and the shower was extremely old and dirty. The room was cool and the water was hot and it was quiet so I guess it wasn’t all bad.
