My work assignment got moved to Texas last minute (the day before I was due to check in), but for only 7 days. I called the hotel to discuss this and did advise her that I'd be coming in for the remaining 2 days. She canceled the booking and charged me a 1 night cancellation fee...when I said I was just modifying the booking, she was of the attitude oh well, you've been charged now. So okay, you can cancel the other 2 days too then. Moving forward, I work in this town 6 months of the year and will not be staying at this hotel. It's not the cancelation policy, but the attitude.

I accidentally left my overnight kit in the room and they not only called to notify me but offered to mail it to me. I was able to stop by there on our way back home to pick it up. They were so kind to hold onto it for me. Kindness always wins! TY for the great service.
