The front desk was always helpful and welcoming, the kitchen staff prepared delicious meals with great care, and the housekeeping team kept everything perfectly clean and organized. You can really feel the teamwork and dedication in every detail. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would definitely recommend this place to everybody.

This area of Lafayette is beautiful and the hotel is near lots of stores and restaurants. There is a Fresh Market and Natural Grocers nearby and the hotel is right behind Carrabba's. The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a short stay. There are mini-fridges in the room that are super cold. The beds are firm and comfortable. Blain at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Check in was a breeze. I definitely recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Lafayette. I didn't get to utilize the pool or the fireplace, but would have liked to enjoy them if I had more time. Also, the lobby is nice with lots of spots to work from and even has a pool table. There is 24/7 coffee and hot water. Thanks Tru by Hilton Lafayette River Ranch. I appreciate your hospitality!
- APAriel PaganNov 29, 20254.0The plus side: it’s an affordable Hilton Hotel located in River Ranch. This puts it very close to some of Lafayette’s best destinations. The down side: it looks and feels very affordable 1. We arrived, and the amazing staff (Roxanne) worked to ensure that our rooms would be on the same floor. 2. We got to the rooms and learned that they go for a minimalist, IKEA type of vibe. No cabinets or drawers. Just some hanging space and racks. 3. Breakfast was somewhat complicated as there is a single pancake maker that everyone is waiting to use. Moreover, it’s an overly complex machine that takes minutes to deliver a single, small, pancake (most people are trying to get 2-3 of these so the wait time multiplied drastically) 4. Wood floors make it possible to hear anything that is happening over your room, so top floor is actually the best option. 5. The gym is a nice touch and there are plenty of water bottle filling stations. Overall, you get what you pay for, and Tru by Hilton is no exception. However, the customer support staff is top tier, working with a smile to ensure that everyone gets what they need.
