I want to shoutout Maxcine, the front desk queen . She’s a gem & made checking in a funny experience. She’s professional asl & this hotel is lucky to have her . This location is quiet , they have construction going on but my sleep was uninterrupted and there was ample enough parking space still .
I will choose to stay here again . The rooms are big too

We were greeted by Maxcine who was extremely welcoming, friendly and professional. We got the suite with 2 bedrooms. One bedroom had the king size bed with shower and the other bedroom had 2 beds and a tub which was exactly what we wanted. Room also had a kitchen and full size refrigerator. Breakfast had plenty of options but it was missing the waffle maker we decided to go get waffles somewhere else. Overall the room/bed was comfortable and Maxcine was such a joy to meet. I would definitely promote her off of the night shift even though she was perfect.

Wow, I truly expected the Hilton experience, but Wow!!! Clean rooms, nice fitness center, laundry rooms, pool, free breakfast buffet, a full kitchen in my room, and I recommend this Hilton to everyone that visits Lafayette, Louisiana! I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in town!!!

FLEAs in my room!! …Response to owner-I told guest assistance & front desk clerk the room had parasites. could have been bedbugs, fleas, ticks basically the property is poorly cleaned and not sanitized …per guest service this is considered a safety and security concern for your guest. As of today I have not received a response from the property owners future guest please be aware this location is not owned or maintained by Hilton corporation. Owner I also have a recorded video the conversation with front desk to support my claims of infected bites if needed, so let me know if it was bed bugs or fleas because the front desk clerk took a pic. I have not received a discount/reimbursement for anything and paid full price for the days I stayed. EVERYONE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN YOU AND NOW YOU SEE HOW THEY WILL TREAT YOU. Business trip and a Hilton Honors member traveling to Lafayette. I pre-booked my room via app and paid as I have done numerous times. Check in came and I checked in yet the digital key would never process. I get to the hotel and ask the front counter why the digital key was not working. I was informed the room was not ready and the general manager put me in another room. My original room was convenient to the elevator and yet the assigned room by the GM was in the back of the hotel due to the construction throughout. The room was clean and newly renovated but if your into paint fumes then this was the room for you. I stayed one night and left. Upon returning home, I checked my app for a receipt and points. Neither were in my app and the stay was marked as canceled. I contacted Hilton and they contacted the hotel. They informed Hilton I was a no show and canceled. The room was non refundable and non cancelation as well as paid for prior to arrival. I stayed in a room assigned by their GM. I asked for a return call regarding this matter. I did not receive a return call until I called and left a voicemail for the GM to call me the following week. Did I mention the rude attitude from the hotel when questioned on Friday about the cancelation and no Hilton points. The GM returned my call after my follow up and stated the girl was new and entered it wrong when she switched my room. The lady I checked in at the hotel with was not new. The GM went on to say she couldn’t provide me with a folio and if she did it would state zero dollars on it. It was booked thru Hilton and not Homewood Suites therefore Hilton paid them and I paid Hilton. I have always received a Folio after check out. I have never heard of this before and I’m not sure it is correct for Hilton. She couldn’t explain why I didn’t receive points and said she would look into it. My HH number was on the room she re-assigned to me. The location is very close to an intersection therefore difficult to enter and exit. Coupled with construction and poor parking lot lighting I wouldn’t recommend ever staying at this location. Not only is the location not becoming of a Hilton property the staff is either not taught correctly or it is a GM that is not above diverting the blame in an effort to avoid the truth. If I could give a zero I would but 1 star is the least. Run or sleep in your ride but don’t stay here!
