  My awesome son-in-law made the reservationd for me, so they reservation was not aligned to my Hilton Honors membership, it didn't show up in my app so I called the number and Bruce answered at the location in Lafayette. He is an active listener and after a quick conversation, he was able to get my membership into the reservation and that way the electronic key was on its way to me in route. If your from out of town drive slow, the streets are old, narrow, watch for potholes. Hotel is safe area of Lafayette. Drive up and the building and landscaping presentation is flawless with plenty of parking and near the center of all things Lafayette. When I walked in I was met by cart availability, and a bright and very clean lobby, lounging, front desk, cafe, and bar. This is proof the manager is on point and the staff team is working well together. Walked to the check-in to validate ID for electronic key and I was greeted by Bruce with a smile, quickly processed, asked if there was anything, then to my room I opted for the 6th floor in the back. It's likely the best view of downtown Lafayette you will get without being in the plane. The room looks like a fresh refurb, everything was fresh and clean. Thanks to the staff team and their manager for giving me a real friendly, safe, and clean Hilton experience.

  The guy at the front desk was so sweet and kind. Even figured out that he was from our home town Houma.

  The staff are not trustworthy they went into our room went through my luggage and stole my wedding and engagement ring they were bonded together I’ve together and a tiger’s eye necklace and earrings they were told not to clean our room I had a surgery at the hospital and had to stay overnight the my granddaughter three people in our room at different times the manager said he could see who went into our room because they have coded key cards but he would not give us the names he also would not give the names to the police he was angry that I filled a police report he said he trusted all his workers and they would not steal the rings were very important to me I’ve worn them for fourty years my husband and my son passed away and the mothers ring my children bought for me my heart is broken beyond repair I’ve been a hiton honors member for years but I will never stay at another Hilton anywhere the manager was angry that I made a police report and one of the workers stalking to him for a while but when I said the police were coming to make a report she left in a hurry that looked a sketchy and she was one of the people my granddaughter caught in our room she said she was inspecting the room but we ask them not to clean our room

  There wasn’t any hot water. I had to take a cold shower. When I complained I was literally dismissed. The best part of my stay was the outstanding grits. My hat goes off to the Chef. I believe at the very least a Hilton should first and foremost provide hot showers or shouldn’t charge for the room.

  The room was clean but dated. The A/C system thermostat seemed a little off. The unit cooled the room until you were freezing, then turn off and not start until the room temperature went up to the point you would remove the sheets. Then turn on and freeze your butt off. Could have been worse and not worked at all. Coffee was provided but you had to use faucet water to brew your coffee as you had to pay $2.00 for the bottled water in the room. Crazy right. Needless to say we didn't have coffee. The grounds were clean and the staff friendly. The lounge and bar area appeared adequate from a distance, I did not use these areas during this stay. Perfect location if you are coming to a venue at the Cajun Dome and near to many Restaurants and shops. Safe travels my friends.
