Only complaint is the breakfast is the same every morning so if you plan on staying long term like I am/have been you get tired of it real fast. But very homey and comfortable. Nice and friendly environment pool is very nice. Will definitely plan on coming back for a get away another time needed

My family and I stay at this location frequently. We require two bedrooms and these are pretty spacious. We have liked this hotel for its central location and cleanliness, especially when compared to the location in Shreveport. That location is atrocious. However, this time we had several issues that made the stay less than ideal.
First, I do all my bookings and check-ins digitally. Check in time is 4p. By 6p I still had not gotten my digital key, even though I checked in hours earlier. I called and the lady rudely stated that they were “busy” and would call me back later. Eventually, I got a call back and was told we would have a room shortly. I do t understand this, because checkout is 11a, so why would it take 6 hours to turn the room? No answers were provided.
Next, the elevator was in need of service to the point where my kids were scared to use it and we were on the 4th floor. It would bang and shake violently and was sluggish to open on the 4th floor. I told the front desk staff and asked if they would ride it to verify and they did nothing and seemed like it was a bother that I mentioned it.
The hot water in the suite (#406) was warm at best and in the kids bathroom, it wasn’t even warm. Again, I noted it with the staff. Nothing was done.
My unit did not have paper towels, dish soap, or small towels when I arrived, so I had to request it all.
The most negative part was the utter unwillingness of the staff to be helpful, or to even act as if they cared. I travel with 3 small kids and the lack of courtesy is an added stressed in these situations. In the hospitality industry, I expect the baseline to be hospitable… this location failed me and my family. I spoke with a guy at the front desk about a few instances and shared my dissatisfaction in the service I received. He seemed to be shocked by what I shared, but I cannot say if it was genuine. I can say that no one even tried to make it right or even apologize.
I still like this location for a few reasons, but the items they can change, need to be changed in a hurry. There are too many competitors to act like this with your customers.

We’ve stayed at this Hilton several times and usually have a great experience, but this recent stay had a few bumps. On the first morning, the shower was completely freezing, and while maintenance did come by to fix it later that day, we ended up with lukewarm water again the next night. We also dealt with some pretty loud noise from the room above us for a couple of days, including times when we really needed rest before a long hospital shift.
On top of that, we were disappointed that the bar no longer makes Old Fashioneds the way they used to—they’ve stopped smoking them and don’t use the proper cherries anymore, which just didn’t meet the usual standard we’ve enjoyed here. And on top of all that, the elevator runs extremely slow and there’s only one, which made getting around a bit of a hassle.
We really hope these issues can be addressed, as we typically love staying at this hotel and want to keep coming back for the great service we know Hilton can provide.

This was one of the nicer Hilton's I've stayed at while on the road. Clean, modern, comfortable, quiet. My one complaint was it having only a single elevator (at least that I could find!) and it has to be pretty chaotic when the hotel is full. I'd stay here again.
