The staff at check-in and breakfast are key folks that can make a stay great. This property has good people working here and go the extra mile to handle any questions or requests that you have. Whether it's searching for an herbal tea or making sure your room is ready when you check in and you have access to anything you need, these are little things that make a difference. The location is convenient to I-10 and there are some decent dining options nearby. The Homewood Suites brand for those not familiar is part of Hilton and all the suites have a kitchette, sitting room, and a separate bedroom. This is really nice when you have two folks with different bedtime, wake times, you can effectively have a bit of privacy, and not disturb your traveling companion. On Wednesdays. this property has a managers reception and the breakfast is good with the standard hot and cold options. We enjoyed our stay and will return on a future road trip.

I reported this to Kay at the front desk, who responded, “I’m not surprised.” I requested that the room be cleaned. However, upon returning that evening, I found that the issue had not been addressed—the same hair remained in the bathtub. I went back downstairs to notify the front desk attendant, who informed me she would come upstairs to clean the bathroom herself. Given that she was the only employee on duty and that the concern had already been reported earlier in the day with no follow-up, I requested the name and contact information of the hotel manager. When I returned to my room and began preparing to clean the shower myself, I pulled back the shower curtain and discovered a used washcloth placed on top of the curtain. I immediately took photos and returned to the front desk to inform the attendant.
