The staff was not personable at all. The television did Not work in the room, and I was told to unplug it and plug it back in to see if it works needless to say the TV never worked. I was then approached by Burleigh gentleman during breakfast, asking personal questions and staring at me. I politely responded and went to my room with my coffee. Check out was Sunday and I left the room unpleased of course because there was not a pleasant smell when I entered the room, but I had spray to accommodate the smell. The beds were uncomfortable and sheets And covers seemed to be worn. I was then questioned on my way out of the door as to why I was in town and where I was going, which was very uncomfortable to me. I politely asked why and walked out of the door. I often frequent Baton Rouge for conferences and to visit family, but I will never ever Book with this location again, and I do not recommend that anyone else does until they make necessary, updates and renovations to accommodate patrons and the prices that they are charging.

When I stayed at this location I found dead roaches in my room. Little did I know, I brought some back to Texas. The hotel has not responded to my plea for remediation. I have never had roaches in my life. The hotel was under construction and the tiles hurt my foot as well. The Hilton Worldwide customer service has yet to respond as well. They have been dismissive and unapologetic. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location....lots of restaurant choices nearby. Near the main highways. This is my 5th time to stay at a Home2 Suites By Hilton. Not the friendliest check-in but okay. hotel is under construction/remodeling. so a little dusty and noisy. Breakfast was good but not great. Our room was great. I wish both bedside tables had plugs for cell phones, cpap machine, etc... i'd most likely stay here again.
