15.99 for breakfast felt like a slap in the face. I would definitely pass on this one and look for something with free breakfast.

I really tried not to write a review, but tonight has taken the cake. I have been staying at this hotel 3 times in the past 6 weeks. The bathrooms are never clean (hair in the shower and in and around the sink), and the room that I am in tonight... The linen is filthy/dingy looking (see photos) and the room is HOT because the A/C keeps shutting off (it's set to 66° but the room temp on the thermostat says 75°).
In the words of a lady that I met in the elevator "Hilton isn't what it used to be." The price doesn't reflect the service. The rooms across the street at the Microtel by Wyndham are cleaner. It's 9:42PM and I have to be at work at 2:30AM, but I can't fall asleep because the linen is nasty. I'll probably just stay up and drink an energy drink before I go to work. This is ridiculous.

I was very impressed by the night staff as I checked in. Very professional, kind and helpful. After know I just got off from a 12 hour shift traveling to Baton Rouge to come for work. He suggested I try the cafe. Also inform me that there was water in the room. The cafe staff and bartender was kind and just as professional as the desk clerk. The gumbo was so amazing, I was shocked. I sent my husband to get a bowel for my lunch the next day. The mattress was amazing slept well. The hotel was peaceful. However the hotel it self could use some TLC. Instead of patched ceiling repaired them. The bathroom shower not the cleanest. The toilet was rocking. Put a towel on the floor to keep it from being wet. Don't know if the water running to the closet area came from. However almost slipped going to collect my belongings to leave. Told it to the desk person about the rocking toilet as we were leaving out. He seemed concerned, stated he would get right on it. This hotel has a amazing staff. With some minor TLC this would be a total package.
