There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance and a grocery store next door. Staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was pretty good although I wish they served bacon. Rooms are okay, but it was obvious that housekeeping did not wipe down the table surfaces after the previous occupants of our room because there were cup rings and sticky residue on the desk and nightstands. Shower did not get hot, just lukewarm. I did not sleep well at all due to the noise from outside all night. The soundproofing is horrible and you can hear everything that drives past pretty loudly. It was honestly the worst part of the stay and is bad enough to deter us from using this hotel again in the future. They also charged $15 per night to park in their parking garage, which is absurd considering we spent hundreds to book a room here. Parking should be complimentary for hotel guests. This just looks greedy.

Check in was quick and the hotel staff were all great. The best thing about our room was the river view balcony we paid for. The toilet and tub are made for babies and I wish I were exaggerating. They were so small. Wish I had wrote my review while we were still in the hotel so I could have added photos, but we didn’t get much sleep due to the comfort of the bed and pillows being flat so we got up in just enough time to get dressed and leave for the noon check out. The breakfast was decent as well. We only came to Baton Rouge to go to the thirteenth gate and this hotel was close by.
