    We arrived around 10pm. Our son was having emergency surgery early the next morning. They said they were out of king rooms so they upgraded us to a king suite. First appearance it looked nice, but that was not true. There was only 1 hand towel and the shower was not clean, in fact there was a bar of used soap in the shower. Down in the lobby dust on the curtain rails and on the items sitting high up covered in dust. As for service well the guy coming onto his shift looked like he hadn’t slept. We stood for about 10 minutes then the lady checked us in. I worked as an executive Housekeeper, this is below standards. No one at the desk the next morning, to greet and send off customers just shows poor customer service. The front desk should always present themself as positive to make the customers feel satisfied and want to stay again. Word travels fast and negative feelings go much faster. This trip was an emergency operation on our son.

    I have been trying to get around to texting this review for ALMOST a week knowing the 1st chance I got I would but I wanted to be sure I had the time needed and gave it the review it deserved ! Anyway I should be making more than review considering I had more than one interaction with this hotel ALL of which were great !! I need to be sure this gets the justice it needs.... I'll start with the GM Angie, a jewel is good way to describe her. She took the time to book my stay, although, my plans fell through and I did NOT get to visit. I called later than anticipated because plans were NOT solid but even though I missed the deadline to book for the special rate she accommodated me NOT once but twice. I was really looking fwd to staying and possibly meeting her because in most cases the GM will pass u off to someone else to book u even if they ok the price etc but she took the time and patiently booked me and was SO nice in doing so. Well I had to cancel and again pain free , NO hassle. I called back a day later and rebooked AGAIN NO problem I was given the discounted rate but unfortunately had to cancel again as we had NO bus driver to get us there however again, NO hassle ,NO attitudes cancellation done and still a satisfied potential guest. I want to say thank u Angie , Nicole, and Carl for ur hospitality although u NEVER saw my face u guys were the kindest I could imagine u could even be in person. Hearing u smile on the phone while waiting on me meant alot because I KNOW ur job can't be an easy one working with the public day in and out which is why I had to say THANKS and keep being a GREAT face for The Hampton Inn and Suites . In a world where KINDNESS is lacking please know that it is still appreciated !!
