I love staying at Tru hotels, and I highly recommend this location in Lexington. Lobby was nice and the front desk staff were very friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure.

The only reason I gave Rooms a 4 Star rating is because of the hand soap: the lemon dried out my hands. I can only imagine the body wash & shampoo & conditioner might do the same, I'm unsure. I was there for a surgery for the next day, so I had to use a pre-surgery Wash the night before and day of, so I never found out. I took a Handicapped room, and the seat in the shower was excellent for me. But the shower curtain doesn't like to stay inside the shower, so water got everywhere--and I was careful. The handheld shower was Great, and I liked that you could adjust the holder, and that if you had an Abled person with you, they could take a normal shower if they desired. Great water pressure at the time, as well. There's a little Commissary in the lobby, if you want anything to eat or drink without leaving the hotel--you purchase from the front desk, as they are one and the same. There seems to always been coffee, hot water for tea, as well, down in the lobby. I didn't utilize the Continental Breakfast, neither did my mother who was with me, so I can't vouch for it's quality. There's a bunch of games in cubbies--also in the lobby--which I would've utilized if I wasn't needing to be up early or if I had friends with me instead.

We had a 59.50 rate for one of the nights of our stay but we we're charged $99. We were stuck in Iowa due to a snow storm and couldn't make it for our first night. We were not told of increased charge until we checked in. Tried to rectify this with Hilton customer care but because we didn't modify reservations online they wouldn't honor our original reservation rate.

My second visit, and it sure went badly. Rooms were okay, staff, services well. My big complaint was the noise. Had to get up very early the next morning, and the noise was unreal! It sounded like a horse or something wild above our bed and continued for over an 1.5. Also screaming in the hallway was so disturbing 😳. Also, it would be nice to have a senior discount, and one for those going to the hospitals.
