Very attractive and well maintained Hampton. They were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was spotless which is not always the case at Hiltons hotels. The scrambled eggs were moist and delicious. This is also unusual for Hilton eggs.

As pleased as we were with our last visit, our room was less than expected on this visit. Wallpaper peeling from the bathroom walls. Rust on legs of sink counter. Tub spigot ready to fall off. Quite loose. Lack of Fox News on TV. FOXBusiness available but no Fox News. All the rest of the News channels available. Is this a political statement?

Stayed there for three nights in October 2025. Not a good choice for light sleepers. It is generally a nice Hampton Inn, but it has - for me, some negative aspects that knock off three stars. In most hotels I have to turn off the HVAC at night to avoid the noise and blowing air. I expect this and if the room looses or gains a few degrees in temperature overnight I am happy with that. It is not possible to do that in this hotel. The rooms have a "smart thermostat" configured so that it cannot be turned off. It can be set by the occupant to "OFF", and it will display "OFF", but the HVAC will continue to cycle on and off all night (short cycles while I was there). The first night I thought I used the thermostat incorrectly. The second night I asked at the desk and was told there is nothing I can do about it. When checking out the person at the desk claimed that it only works well when there is a lot of motion in the room. These thermostats create a mesh network and can be controlled at will by whoever manages that. Apparently the decision was made to not allow the occupant of the room to have local control and operation is optimized for efficiency (cost savings) over guest comfort. Also, the smoke detector has a disturbingly very bright LED that flashes frequently at variable rates.
