- YBYoyo barkJan 4, 20262.0I'm not sure why this hotel is rated as high as it is. The best part of my stay was the front desk staff. The hotel has roaches. Not that I found a dead roach from insect remediation but a living roach. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it because I'm a smash and flush first type of person. The toilet in our first room, with the roach, had a broken wax seal so it leaked. The front desk immediately moved us to a new room and that was better. The hotel overall should have been cleaner. I only saw 1 cleaning staff when I was leaving so they may be understaffed. Yes roaches are attracted to water so the broken wax seal may be contributing but you have to already have roaches in the hotel for them to make their way up to the second floor. It's not like this is the humid south with no winters where they just live outside. I liked the minimalist room but did it have to extend to the walls too? I heard everything from the neighboring rooms; there is currently renovations occurring so hopefully they will address that issue and not just reface the outside. Not sure if the hotel has a Q2Q or X1 type of TV service but it probably needs to be reset as the TV would randomly reset to the home screen and increase the volume even. It was annoying trying to watch a movie.

This place was no different except the staff was not quite as friendly as we have previously had at places. When trying to speak to the front desk clerk she just stared at me like I was bothering her and irritated I asked a question. Breakfast did have less fruit topping than any other place but still good.
