Dishonest and frustrating to deal with. Showed up to stay was told they didn’t have a room for me and they could cancel my stay or I could stay at a home 2 suites down the road that was a sister hotel. Tyler repeating this over and over at the front desk while talking to Priscilla at a home 2 because the system was not working for over 3 hours at the Hampton. We cancelled and moved to a double tree and were told to call back the next day because the hotel wanted to make it right. Call back the next day to find out that is not the story they’re going with and they didn’t do any of those things.
Update:
After speaking with your assistant GM Katie a second time I would happily give you no stars if possible and though I have been a diamond member with Hilton for at least the last 5 yrs in a row I cancelled 20 nights of travel in January and February and switched to Marriott.

This hotel does not focus on customer service at all. It's hard to get the attention, let alone find an employee to help you. At check-in, I had to greet staff to check- in. I presented a tax exempt form that was not applied to my account. When it was time to check- out and ensure everything was charged appropriately, there's no one ANYWHERE to check- out. Other guests suggested that I just use the app because they too noticed the inattentiveness of staff. I waited longer to see if I could verify all charges, but no one came before I needed to leave (15 minutes after eating breakfast in the lobby, hoping to see someone). After returning home and receiving my invoice, it's wrong and no one can find the tax exempt form provided. The employee who answered the phone did not know how to fix the problem, was not pleasant or helpful, and had no idea when the manager, Katie would be in. Reaching out to 1 800 Hampton was no help as well. Maybe it's time to switch to a different hotel chain. Hilton might look into whether the Hampton properties are upholding their reputation, because this experience has been disappointing. I would absolutely not recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Overland Park South because guests are not the priority.

We accidentally booked the wrong date and Arjun Nair helped us out! He was so efficient and professional! Shout out to him! Gym was equipped nicely and no problems with the room we stayed in. Will come back if we are this way!
