Someone attempted to forcibly enter my room. I told the front desk to call security and review videos. They decided to wait until security showed up to start their overnight shift and have no cameras in the hallways. The front desk managers straight-up told me they are better at responding to attempted break-ins than security so they thought the delay in alerting security was appropriate per policy. Had I know they would do nothing, I would have called 911. I talked to their head of security, and they are thankfully planning some much needed staff education.
This hotel is a must stay Hilton property!!! The bar staff tonight of Shiloh, Walter and Phillip made this stay one to remember!! Walter set the stage with by getting our party started we went wild with Tequila it was like being in Cancun !! Shiloh just kept the night rocking this beauty knew how to make a drink and gave my wife such amazing skin care tips I definitely scored points thanks to her!! As the nights went from in hyper drive for fun we got wowed by a master mixologist Dr Phil!! He made some drinks that shocked us!!! It was the perfect prescription for a fanatic night!!!! The charm at this bar shocked us!!
The hotel is in a business park with limited shopping and restaurants within walking distance. During our stay there were multiple conferences and sporting teams staying at the hotel. They were critically short staffed and it was painfully obvious. Service in the restaurant was so bad we left without ever receiving our food or drinks after waiting an over an hour. The service manager told servers trying to help resolve issues in front of guests that the food will be out when it’s out, so be it! Later he was complaining in front of guests in the coffee shop.
The room very dated. It was dusty, plaster was crumbling in the bathroom and along the windows sills, extension cords connected all the lamps, TV, fridge, etc because there were not enough modern power outlets. The sheets and comforter did not smell like they had been washed from the last guest. 👎

I stayed at the Doubletree recently, and I wasn’t very enthusiastic upon arrival due to my flight delays and extensive travel. I am a Hilton Gold member, so I was pleased that after my exhausting travel, the front desk upgraded my room from what my company had booked for me. I was so tired after being in multiple airports all day, so once I got to the Doubletree, I just wanted to unwind with some food and wine, and I truly didn’t have energy to engage in conversation. That is, until I went down to the hotel restaurant. Shiloh was working behind the bar, and she was so personable and accommodating that the conversation uplifted my spirits post travel woes. She gave me an excellent meal recommendation, and then, we got to talking about our interests. She is extremely knowledgeable about skincare, and this is something I have been very interested in lately. She gave me some AMAZING recommendations, and my entire experience here just validated my initial impression that this Hilton has a different vibe because of how easy it is to connect with the staff. I know the next time I go back (which will be soon), Shiloh will ask me how those skincare products are working, and that is what the hospitality industry is all about. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

After fifteen years of marriage, my husband and I decided to call it quits. I needed a breather — a place to think, to breathe, to just be. So I booked a few quiet nights at the DoubleTree, hoping only for some rest and solitude.
On my first night, I wandered down to the Trophy Bar for dinner. What I found there was far more than great food and a cozy atmosphere — I found warmth, compassion, and connection.
Walter and Phil were behind the bar, and from the moment I sat down, they treated me with a level of kindness that felt rare and genuine. They didn’t know my story — they had no idea the emotional weight I was carrying — but somehow, their warmth and easy conversation made me feel seen and human again.
Walter, in particular, went above and beyond. He listened when I needed to talk, offered thoughtful words without prying, and even made a few off-menu adjustments just to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Those small gestures carried so much meaning in that moment.
By the end of my stay, the Trophy Bar had become a small sanctuary — a place that reminded me that kindness still exists, even from strangers.
Walter and Phil, you two made an unforgettable difference in my stay — and honestly, in my week. I’ll be back, not just for the food or the atmosphere, but for the genuine humanity you both bring to your work.
