Hilton Garden Inn Manhattan offers a convenient stay in the heart of New York City, featuring modern rooms, comfortable bedding, and easy access to major attractions like Times Square and Central Park. Guests appreciate its clean ambience, friendly staff, and reliable amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a 24/7 pantry. However, the rooms can feel small compared to expectations, and peak-season rates may be higher than budget-friendly options. Some guests also mention occasional street noise due to the hotel’s central location. Overall, it’s a practical choice for travelers seeking comfort, value, and accessibility in Manhattan.

First of all the hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Now for some details… I was worried about parking and checking in but not to worry. There is a 15 minute parking section in front that allows you to check in easily. There are also parking spaces by the front doors where you can park. A parking lot is behind the hotel and there is a parking garage beside the hotel. Beds are very comfortable and the water pressure in the showers is good. Toilet seats are sturdy and they give you plenty of toilet paper for your stay. Nice TV with lots of channels and easy to use remote. Ice machines on every floor. There is a restaurant on site thst we used once for breakfast. Food was good but you had to order at a counter and it was brought to you. I personally like to be waited on at a restaurant so I was a little thrown by that. There is a breakfast /brunch restaurant just down the road called “Inside Edition” that serves huge breakfasts. Two people could easily share a plate. There is also a Casey’s convenience store just down the street to pick up drinks and snacks if you don’t want to buy drinks and snacks in the hotel. It was quiet and in a safe area. Highly recommend. No complaints.

Aaron was extremely helpful and understanding when we had a booking issue while checking us in late at night. He did all he could in his power to allow us to stay the night considering the circumstances. Would stay here again. Excellent customer service!

Overall a good hotel. The room was clean. We had room 229, which was at Junior suite. This was a paid stay as a diamond member and not an upgrade. I was greeted as a diamond member and provided two complimentary bottles of water. I also used the $10 credit go each day for items at the pantry. I did not try the hotel breakfast but it looked standard for Hilton garden inn. Staff was very friendly and very responsive when I requested an additional towels. I appreciated the extra care they took into making the hotel look nice. One thing that stood out was in the pool area they always had neatly folded towels on each chair and table. In terms of complaints, I can always find a couple of minor things. First, there is quite a bit of smoking near both the front and rear entrance. They had stationed benches and cigarette disposal there which attracted the smokers. This meant you couldn't get in or out of the building without walking through a lot of cigarettes smoke. Second, I wasn't able to get a late check out. This surprised me considering I was checking out on a Tuesday and typically diamond members are given late checkouts.
