I booked a stay here for 3 adults and 2 kids and their website forces you to add another room even though there is definitely space with 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed in the room. They also advertise a full kitchen, but there is no range/stove in the room. Upon arrival found out that their internet was down and was told that their door key cards weren't working and they will have to walk us to the rooms and open the door for us. Having booked 2 rooms under the same reservation, I was expecting that they would put us in rooms next to each other. Nope. They actually had rooms for us on separate floors. Which was a major inconvenience giving that we couldn't use door key cards. Seeing that we all could fit in one room, I said that we all will be staying in one room and asked them to modify our reservation to be charged for one room only. I was told impolitely that I will need to speak to a manager in a morning to have a refund issued for one room. I confirmed with the staff in the morning and they promised that they would issue a refund. They never did. For the price that I pay for Home2 Suites by Hilton and the brand, I was expecting much better. Will be booking with another hotel chain in the future and staying away from Home2 Suites.
