The rooms are pretty nice. However they do not have complementary breakfast. I’m not sure why so many hotels are steering away from this. We are Hilton members! They wanted to charge EIGHTEEN dollars a person for breakfast. We will most likely not stay here again simply for that. I could go to a nice sit down restaurant for that breakfast price. To some this may seem small and I promise I’m not a Karen. But hotels need to go back to complimentary breakfast and stop nickel and diming everyone. This would’ve added $72 dollars onto the bill. For hotel breakfast. Hilton do better. Especially for your members!

Owen Faust, the general manager, charged my credit card without my authorisation after claiming that Booking.com failed to pass payment to the hotel. I had already booked and fully paid for my stay through Booking.com. While staying at the hotel, I used Apple Pay once to purchase food and drink. After later claiming that Booking.com had not paid Hilton, Owen accessed my stored card details from that drink purchase and used them to charge me again for the accommodation, resulting in a double charge. I did not consent to this charge. The hotel only had my card details because I had made a separate, legitimate purchase on site. Using those details to charge me for a stay I had already paid for is a serious misuse of customer payment data and a complete breach of trust. When I explained that payment issues between Hilton and Booking.com are not my responsibility, Owen told me that once I got Booking.com to pay him, I would get my money back. In other words, he expected me to act as a debt collector for Hilton when their third-party vendor failed to pay them, which is completely unacceptable. My bank immediately reversed the charge as fraudulent once I explained the situation. Do not stay at this hotel. If Hilton’s third-party partners fail to pay them, they may misuse your stored card details and charge you without permission months after your stay.

Rooms are quiet and mattresses comfy. No complimentary breakfast, and selection of snacks slim for Gold members There’s a Keurig in room and the shower has a wand. Nice. Rooms are spacious. It’s in a location that requires several surface streets from the highway to access the hotel. We loved the Naked Chopstix Asian restaurant in the shared parking lot. Some staff friendly, some less so. I have to add that I forgot my chargers when we left the hotel. This amazing staff, from housekeeping to host to management, texted us, talked with us by phone, and agreed to mail the forgotten items to our destination. That’s service! We feel like gold. Many thanks.
