  For a budget-friendly "value" hotel, this property exceeded my expectations. I stayed here during a very difficult time while my wife was in the ICU nearby. The staff was incredibly compassionate and caring, even offering me a late checkout to help me rest. The only thing the staff did not do was get me my Hilton Diamond water / snack. The Room: The rooms are spacious and have been remodeled at some point. They were in good shape. However, I did encounter two issues that affected my sleep. First, the HVAC unit was inconsistent; during the cold, windy night with a huge temprature drop, the vent blew heat from the center but outside cold air was blowing in from the vents at the ends. Second, the walls are quite thin, and I could clearly hear a neighbor’s TV. Amenities: Breakfast consists of a simple bagel bar and cereal. It’s a solid cold breakfast, though I’d love to see high-protein options like protein bars and some fruit. Overall, the staff is the "star of the show" here. The lady who checked me in and manager who was on his way out made my arrival above expectations. While I’m not sure if I’ll return due to the noise levels, the service was far better than I expected for the price.

  We did an overnight stay and this location was great Set back away from everything. The staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly. We were welcomed like family and accommodations were spot of as I would expect. I would stay here again if I were to head back to the area.

  We reserved 5 rooms. Part of our group arrived 30 minutes ahead of us. They wouldn’t let them have access to their room until we arrived. One of them was an elderly lady (90 years old) and one was handicapped. Then they switched one of our king rooms to a queen without telling us. One room had not even been cleaned yet. This was a terrible experience.

  I stayed here by accident because I got stuck in a snowstorm on my way home from Indianapolis. But it was a great accident, because the room was very spacey, quiet, and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is right next to the interstate and lots of restaurants, so the location is great too. Highly recommend.

  I took a chance since I saw most of the reviews were from when the hotel was being remodeled. Traveling for thanksgiving and needed a place to crash for the night. This Spark hotel suited our needs well. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfortable. There is no coffee maker in the room, but the coffee at breakfast was good. Ice buckets are right at the ice machine on the first floor so they don’t have to maintain them in every room. Breakfast did not have hot cooked food, but there were plenty of choices, and if you want a different breakfast there are several chain restaurants and a fantastic donut shop (Pana Donuts) just on the other side of the interstate. Overall a nice budget option.
