Great food and bar that is also open to the public. It's a room to sleep nothing fancy. Everyone was very friendly.

Our recent stay at the Hilton garden inn in Chesterton,Indiana was fabulous, it’s rare to get such great customer service these days, every employee we encountered was top notch, and a special shout out to a house keeper named Kim who went above and beyond, and her kindness was a breath of fresh air, highly recommended.

A Wonderful Stay During a Snowstorm — Exceptional Service from Nikki! Here’s a polished, warm, and Nikki-highlighting review you can post: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay During a Snowstorm — Exceptional Service from Nikki! I got snowed in during a terrible storm on a long drive and ended up staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Chesterton, Indiana. I couldn’t have picked a better place to wait out the weather. The hotel is clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely kind. But the real standout of my stay was Nikki at the lobby bar/restaurant. It was only her second night on the job, yet she handled a full group of guests like a seasoned pro. She was attentive, warm, incredibly hardworking, and somehow managed to give great service to everyone despite how busy it was. Nikki truly made my stay outstanding, and her effort deserves to be recognized. If you’re passing through Chesterton — storm or no storm — this is a great place to stay. And if Nikki is working, you’re in especially good hands!

Sailina check me in. She gave me the wrong room number. I had to come down with all my stuff to get an working key. I asked her to walk up with me as I had a cart full and two dogs. Never asked me anything about my trip or my dogs. I understand people aren’t all dog people, but they usually say something nice. She did not offer to help pushing my cart or to take one of my dogs. She opened the door. Walked in. As I am struggling to get all of us in the door and my cart, she doesn’t turn on a light or hold the door. I had to go down again, because she never gave me Wi-fi password. The room is missing a light fixture. The blinds have holes in them. I see a few flying nats. There is also painted over water damage on the ceiling. I hope the mold was contained and mitigated. The hotel looks good in the outside, less than impressed with service and room.
