- AAAnita2 days ago4.0We decided to stay here because all the other Tru hotels we’ve been to have been good. Of course the lobby is welcoming. I think they have one of the best lobbies in a hotel. Trust me, I’ve been to so pretty swanky hotels but this one has things to do for just about anyone. They have a pool table and a lot of seating areas. I love the coffee bar. It’s just a really nice lobby. We walked into our room. We could tell that the room was clean before you could smell the bleach and cleaners that were used. I do not mind that smell because that means it’s been cleaned! The whole entire room was clean. Yes it is basic but for the price for a one night stay, it is great! We haven’t slept yet, as it’s 10pm but I’m sure it’ll be a nice nights sleep. It’s very relaxing and quiet too…. so far. No they do not have a coffee maker or microwave in the room but that’s all in the lobby. However, they do have a mini refrigerator which is nice to have for our drinks we brought with us. Overall, Tru here in Auburn IN seems to be a nice one.

The complimentary breakfast was another highlight lots of variety, fresh options, and a fun, casual atmosphere. The staff deserves special mention too; they were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether you’re in town for business, visiting nearby attractions, or just passing through, the Tru hotel in Auburn is an excellent choice. We will definitely stay here again!

Directly off interstate but no road noise. On a secluded side street. Parking lot felt safe to leave your car overnight. Bathroom was clean and functional. Air conditioner worked excellent, bed slept well. Not much you can ask for in a hotel like this. Towels did seem to have a bad chemical smell to them and almost seemed kind of sticky when you got them wet. But the positives always tend to outweigh the negatives.
