Our family of 4 stayed here for four nights while visiting family over the holidays.
Pros: Location is good. Near shopping and restaurants. Overall quiet.
Cons: This hotel is run down and in major need of updating and renovations. The carpet is worn and torn in multiple areas. The water does not stay hot for long, so showering must be done quickly. The breakfast is a complete joke… most mornings there was not much to choose from. The third floor smelled of weed multiple days.
The pool was out of order the whole time we were there.
I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone that would be traveling to this area.

No idea what that 6 foot something review was about, but it had made me terrified that someone’s reservation was cancelled, and he had been so upset about it, he posted a review on two accounts minimum.
The reality though, is that this place is fine. Whatever happened to him isn’t even a race thing, because there’s at least two guys who work here that are black.
I had been worried about booking a stay here because of that review, so I’m glad things were just normal.

Omg I had to leave another review about the hotel from my other account, see review by Diddy Mead… so I come in today to speak with Ashley about the situation and she said she is standing with Ronnie on the issue because of my “tone” that’s right I’m a big black scary 6’02” man Oh my God I thought we was past this in 2025 guys. I’m a military and law enforcement I speak clear and direct! And yes when you kick me and my family out in the cold in - degree weather yes o will speak up! Ashley jumped back into the door when I went to shake her hand and it was at that point I already know how things was going to go, so sad Hilton make this right please, Ashley, Ronnie, and this Hampton is wrong!!!!!

I've been hotel hopping for over a week now and this Hampton Inn is fairly cozy.
Now, the hotel is a little dated and there is some wear & tear, but it's still a good value, conveniently located and relatively clean.
The staff is friendly and helpful, they have a decent little commissary and a nice, complimentary hot breakfast.
The coffee was very strong, I added a little water, but it definitely woke me up. They also have a cute little hot cocoa bar with some fun holiday toppings. There is a pool. Oh, their business center is a desktop computer in an alcove. It's simplistic, but it's perfect for printing off your boarding pass or map quest directions;-)
Depending on how you book, you might get a room under $100. So I'd say, in general this is a decent place to stay.

*** update*** spoke to GM Ashley and she said the reason why my reservations was canceled was because of the tone of my voice yet thats it thats all the tone of my voice🤦🏾♂️
Oh my GOD I was just treated so horrible at this location by some person who would not tell me who they was or what his name or position was, no name tag or nothing. So I will try my best to make this short. I have reservations for 3 rooms for 2 nights and somehow all of it ended up with different confirmations so at check in I informed them that all of my reservations was for 2 nights not all separated. The person working name Patrick(great help) listens and understood my concerns and said he would handle it and update everything to reflect that. So today I wake up to a call from this unk person who stated that I was over my stay and that I needed to either extend my stay or get out! I tried to explain that I am not extending because I have already been charged and have reservations for 2 nights, he cut me off and said I'm telling you your options at this point! So I said I'm coming down, and when I got down stairs I again stated ok just so we clear I went through this yesterday with Patrick , and the unk male black stated I don't care or have to listen to this, Patrick answers to me! I said I have to explain the situation because if I don't we will have another issue with the reservation I already purchased and he again cut me off and said let me tell you this so the we are clear all of your reservations are canceled!!! I said for what and he said because I can cancel anybody for anything whenever I want! I stated you can't just cancel me for no reason, and I said OK fine we will leave give me your name and I would like a full refund and to speak to whoever is in charge of this place and he stated that he was in charge and that he will not be giving me a refund! I ask for his name and title again and this when he called the police and said I was trespassing and refusing to leave!(I never refused to leave) the police then come and escorted my and my family off the property! All I wanted to do was explain that I already have reservations and that turned into being kicked out of a hotel by a very very nasty person!
