Long story short, be sure to leave housekeeping a Fat Tip. If you don't they'll lie then keep your "Incidental" deposit of $100. They said I smoked in the room... Which is not true. I reached out to the Front desk about the 2 rooms and losing both deposits, they said they'd send me an email to contest their statement. They never sent it... If they weren't going to send, why didn't they just say so! So, leave Housekeeping Fat Tip to get your deposit back. 🤞🤞🤞

5’s across the board! Had great service throughout my entire stay, especially from John on the night shift. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and remembered my name to let me know I had a package at the front desk. John truly made my stay great! Absolutely would stay here again! Maybe next time the exit construction will be done 🤞🏻

I stayed here for one night in October 2025, and from the moment I walked in, I was instantly refreshed. The lobby was spotless, the atmosphere welcoming, and the check-in experience was top-notch. I normally check in digitally, but my coworker isn’t much of a tech person, so we went old-school and grabbed key cards. The woman at the front desk (wish I’d caught her name!) was incredibly kind… offered to share local food recommendations, from deep dish to hidden gems. She mentioned a spot for lobster grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and I’m so glad we took her advice. It was phenomenal. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in ages, and it made the whole night. The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and I can’t even begin to explain how good the shower was. The hot water pressure was absolute perfection👏🏼 the kind of shower that makes you forget the rest of the world exists. Especially after the lukewarm trickle I had at another hotel the night before, this felt downright luxurious. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the breakfast was generous and well-organized (no chaotic waffle-station traffic jams here), and the staff kept everything stocked and spotless. The egg-white frittatas were great, the potatoes crisp, and the coffee actually good. All in all, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Clean, friendly, and reasonably priced, a total win. I’d absolutely stay again, whether for a quick stop or a longer trip.

I’m a Gold Member with both Hilton and Marriott, and I’ve always noticed a huge difference in how Marriott respects and values their loyal guests. I checked in at around 11 PM last night after a long day of travel, and by morning I wasn’t feeling well. I politely asked the front desk if I could check out at 2 PM instead of noon. The gentleman at the desk around 11 AM (name starting with F) responded in a dry, dismissive tone, saying: “Yeah, I’m sorry, I can do 1:30 but not 2 — that’ll be a late checkout fee.” It was disappointing, especially after the night-shift lady had kindly said that someone in the morning could extend my checkout to 2 PM if needed. At Marriott, I never have to ask twice. They routinely offer 2 PM to 4 PM checkouts for Gold members — and it’s not about needing it every time, it’s about feeling respected as a guest who spends and stays frequently. I started my rewards journey later, but still, loyalty should matter. It’s the small things that define hospitality — tone, understanding, and flexibility. Sadly, this experience at Hampton Inn (Hilton) left a bad impression. Moving forward, I’ll be sticking with Marriott, where I’m consistently treated like a valued guest rather than an inconvenience.
