This is absolutely not a 4-star hotel. The Hilton downtown Evanston is much more comfortable. The building has one indoor/outdoor pool. It’s hit or miss to use the indoor half in the winter—you’ve been warned. There’s also no jacuzzi. No bar or restaurant in the hotel (though connected to Jameson’s) No vending machines. Dated elevator and carpeting. Couldn’t get the bath faucet to work, asked for help, and no one helped. The front desk staff were nice though.

I checked out Friday on 12/19/25 and realized I left 2 sports coats and a few pants in the closet. I called the next day and they said to call back Sunday to connect with lost and found. I called Sunday 12/21/25 and described the clothes left in room 401, and they informed me that there was nothing in the room found. I have been a Hilton Diamond member for nearly 10+ years, and this is hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I could understand if it was money, or valuables that I had forgotten and someone took it, but it’s clothes and you’re telling me it vanished. Skip this property not worth the headache. Rooms have an odor, and the shower has mold in the corners. This property should not be a part of the Hilton brand.
