I have stayed in this hotel in the past and needed a hotel for four nights. I chose not to stay based on the reviews I have seen. I think it's important for the hotel to either clean up the rat issues (if they have one) or clean up these reviews because I literally chose to go somewhere else based on what I was reading here.

When we stayed they had switched to heat only in rooms. We were on the 2nd floor. It was so hot we had to keep the windows open even with heat set as low as it could go.
Found a sewing needle in the carpet in our room. Luckily I found it before anyone stepped on it.
The sink in our room didn't have any cold water. In order for the faucet to work you had to have it on warm/hot, wouldn't come out when on cold.
Stayed as part of a room block, breakfast was to be included but was limited to 2 tickets per room, we had 3 people. Didn't feel it was worth $15/plate to add the additional person for the "included" breakfast.
They cleaned up our room 1 of the days we stayed but, didn't leave clean towels. We had to take a trip to the desk to get more.
Our digital room keys quit working, that was another trip to the desk to get card keys.
Parking is a bit hard to find when other events are going on.
Was conveniently located nears restaurants, convenient stores, and other shopping.

UPDATED: I called the number provided in their response. I wanted to give them an opportunity to change the rating. It rang for 2 minutes 15 seconds with no answer before I hung up.
Booked with a hockey team which included breakfast vouchers. When I asked for the vouchers I was told we didn’t book through the team. We did.
We called prior to coming to ask about rooms and got routed to India. Spent 45 minutes trying to clarify rooms. Still ended up in the wrong room. Could not get connected to a person at the actual hotel. And obviously they screwed something up leading to us not showing as “with the hockey team”.
The manager wouldn’t come talk to me but told her front desk person not to give us vouchers. Weird choice. So I guess I’ll spend 60 bucks on it and give a 1 star review. Awful service.
Oh and the rooms do not allow you to control temperature. Everyone in our group complained about it being very hot. They said there’s nothing they can do.

Staff gave me the runaround for weeks trying to make sure I had an accessible room in a conference booking, would constantly get put on hold and then sent to voicemail with no response. Staff tone was unkind. Have stayed here twice and both times elevators went down, which did not help with the accessibility issues I already faced. Were not clear about charges and were constantly readjusting and adding and taking away charges on my account weeks after my stay, and was met with unfriendliness when I asked about this readjustment.

Upon entering the bathroom there was a dead beetle? Cockroach? Type of bug. I’ve stayed here multiple times and this weekend will be my last. I book here because the prices aren’t bad but honestly it’s not worth it. Hallways are really dim and smell. Huge spider crawling on the wall. The bathrooms are small, I’ve booked regular rooms and “larger” rooms which are extra and the bathrooms are tiny in those as well, I walked in with 3 bags and there was 3 employees just standing there talking, no greeting no offer to help.
